We do in fact get SE5 after leveling rifles to 41+. Just check in one of the master class threads. There's a video of a gunmaster with a level 40 something ground bullet with SE5. Of course we here in the US don't have it yet, but it does exist.

Rifles get SE5 at 41+. Bows stay SE4 at 31+, and there is no 41+ because no Master class can use them.

kind of sux they are destroying the bow. i will continue to use it though because it looks cooler than the rifle.

In all honesty I don't think bow is meant to be compareable to Rifle as it's a force weapon you know one of them weapons to fall back on just incase, kind of situational, not really meant as a main weapon

look at protranser they get a Bow as there only FPS long single target dodad...yeah got bored with scentance lol
FT same, GT has choice, WT i believe they dont get much choice for long range so having a bow around is helpful

Bow also hits the same damage even agaisnt armored targets rifles don't so theres one bonus which is useful for FT as their damage with such weapon isn't going to be 'brilliant'

The main difference is you will be able to apply all SE easier. The duration for Shock, Freeze, Silence, Virus, and Confuse should also increase. Burn will last the same amount of time but will deal 30% damage as opposed to 25%.

Burn 5 intervals 2s tick (1+effect level)% of max health

Virus 4 intervals +status level 4s tick 5% of max health

So with this info I found on pedia:

BURN SE4 25%hp/10sec < BURN SE5 30%hp/10sec

VIRUS SE4 40%hp/32sec < VIRUS SE5 45%hp/36sec

Right, so BURN and VIRUS are confirmed as long as the numbers don't change. I still would like to know the specifics on SHOCK, FREEZE, SILENCE, CONFUSE....and what about ULT PA's does KILLER SHOT RECIEVE SE 5!!! Can anyone confirm this, or give us a screenshot from JP servers of a lvl 41+ KILLER SHOT?

I really wish SEGA wasn't so mysterious about stats and things. They should take a page out of Blizzards "How to display stat info," book. pso-world would be a million times better if ST didn't have hiddenstats, (would make websites's jobs easier too http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif ) Take a look at Arrent Summit sometime SEGA.

So I guess I continue to dread the day when KS hits 31. At least they took some of the butt hurt away by curbing the cost after 31. Still though...that shit probably costs 50 PP per shot with Gunmaster's PP consumption.

The reason I typed that is becuase that poster wanted even more out of Jabroga even when the the ATP mod was increasing. I think it was 10% or so to Lvl 50. 10% of the 60k I've seen people throwing around is nothing to scoff at. Then add a +30% attack speed modifier? That's why I told him to stop complaining about a PA that is borderline too powerful anyway. You got an increase, just don't bitch that its not high enough to 1-hit KO every enemy in the game.

KS is a bit of a different story. I don't think anyone can argue that gunners got the shaft at 31+. PP cost went up...way up, and what did we get? We got to carry more Rifles becuase that bullet actually became LESS effective when it turned at 31. We got the added negative of higher PP cost, but no positive to balance it. The ATP is pointless for obvious reasons, and as with most ATA increases its real world increase is about a 2% less zeroes. This doesn't appear to be changing much at 41+. Unless the PP cost from 31-50 is the same, in which case I'll eat my words. ...someone tell me its the same, I WANT to be wrong about this.

Every once in a while I wonder "should I really be working on my third copy of killer shot when I haven't even leveled Mayalee shot past 21", but then I start running Grove or Goliath with level 31 killer shot and realize it's not worth the extra PP.

Well, I wouldn't worry about Mayalee shot anymore. Its going to be garbage after the PA rebalance. Might as well pack that one up and stick it in storage. No knockdown and no ATP boost really kill that bullet.

I would like to get it up just to see how well Sleep level 5 works. If it works as well as the sleep re-sleep that Komazli have on White Beast then it might be worth using. If it's difficult to apply it would be pretty useless. From the bit I've used Mayalee shot, it would be very good on Jarba, Jusnagun, and Tengohg as sleep is a bit more effective than knockback on stopping them from doing anything. There are times when each of those creatures are immune from knockback.

I haven't tried it on Carriguine. Are they immune to sleep?

I wouldn't be supprised is Mayalee Shot stops at SE4 either. All the cool stuff that ST is doing to the Rifles bullets only seems to apply to elemental bullets.

I think Carriguines are immune to all SE.

10% increase seems pathetic anyway. Shouldve been 40%. Doesnt have to be 500% at LV50. But atleast some sense of accomplishment for have it at LV50. If ya think about it, 10% does seem kinda cheap for Jabroga. All that bombing all the way to LV50 and its just 10%. Seems kinda pointless.

I remember going "man this guy is really a bitch" at some point so I threw every type of trap at him and nothing worked. At the time that I checked, he was 1 of only 2 enemies to be immune to all SE. That may have changed since AoI though. But I know I will NEVER complain about an enemy that is vulnerable to Burn, haha.

Yes...because RIFLES HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO LEVEL FAST. What game are you playing? So you want a 40% ATP boost and a +30% speed boost... You should probably just hop on PSO, grab a hacked J-Sword and call it a day. You get a 10% boost plus +30% speed. Add those two numbers together, get 40%, and be happy.

@XDeathX: Ugh...I feel like I'm talking at a 3rd grader that insists on regurgitating whatever I say no mater how little sense it makes. The point is that Jabroga is getting better. Is it getting that numbers to appease the damage whores? Maybe not, but its still getting better. Killer Shot has a trend of getting worse as it levels. Masochism is the only reason to level KS past 21.

I know that Rifles get knockdown at 31+. That's a fantastic addition that gives Rifles a long overdue boost. Kudos to ST for that. ...too bad that's not what we are talking about. But you are wrong about one thing, knockdown does NOT apply to KS or Mayalee after 31+. Even if it did, I think it would be a mistake. KS + knockdown would be too powerful, even if its stalled at SE4.

LMAO. Killer Shot doen't get the knock down effect after lvl 31+ and it's PP amount stays the same at 31-50. But what he's trying to say is that Killer Shot gets HARDER to use at lvl 31+ onwards with no positive effects. Geez, even I got that...

Hey thanks for confirming that. Its not nearly as bad knowing that PP cost won't increase at 41. Getting a kick in the pants at 31+ still sucks though. Does anyone know the ATA mod at Lvl 50? If its high enough, I'll probably consider keeping a 31+ bullet.

Yea...57 is no joke. With Gunmaster firing speed thats like 200 PP/sec AHHHH! GoF = dropping all items and carrying 40 Yohmei Rifles.

He's probably using a cosmo at the end of the mission. If you try to keep up with just photon charges in Grove of Fanatics with Killer Shot, you'll be buying 10 at the end of each run.

To give yourself an idea of what I'm talking about, try running through grove with Killer Shot and Hard Power Charge or Hard Hit Charge (or heck Giga/Skill) and see how long your rifle lasts before you have to use a photon charge.

And while GM does in fact get a speed enhancement, did you know that the higher you level your rifle, the slower it shoots? Yeah, it slows down even more at +41.

When I'm the sole KSer in GoF, I go through about ~10-12 Rifles with a bullet save as a fG. And that's at Lvl 30. With 31+ as a GM I could easily go through 20 considering the increase in firing rate. If I'm burning 20 Rifles per run, a Cosmo is definitely the way to go. Now that I think about it, getting 20 S rank Rifles is going to be an even bigger problem, haha.

no you have been complaining that Jabroga should go higher and continue gaining a huge % bonus from 40-50 so shush child.

Also something you to take note is that, if it hasn't already been confirmed, we will possibly get character levels to 200. So you want roughtly 450% ATP mod on jabroga and to have a male beast FM which could easily have 2500 ATP at lvl 200/20. wow I'm a FF and even I have the urge to start calling it jaBROKEN....Look at the long term effects of the ENTIRE game not what you've got in front of you

Yeah, I've done speed runs of GoF and DG, it's impossible to do that with three rifles, and I'm Fortegunner with Bullet Save and KS Lv40.

It's 6~7 for GoF and 8~9 for DG; and I mean Mizurakihoh.
