Don't donate damaged couches to Goodwill, no one will buy it and they're heavy and difficult to move. Additionally, check the weather before bringing couches, or at least put it under the overhang so it doesn't get rained on.
I watched Catch Me If You Can last night, it was a good movie.
I bought a book today, A Case of Need, I've never read it, but it's by Michael Crichton, and I like his books. It was only fifty cents at any rate, so even if I hate it, it's fine.
