I am creating this topic for MAG to build info for Guardians who are anticipating greatly the arrival of MAG! Please post any news or questions you might have: for example does MAG work for just PSU users or only expansion users??

any ideas why original PSU didnt utilize MAG? PM Machinery doesnt seem to be as important or (cute). I am only a LVL 15 CAST so I am still learning, but it always seemed odd to me that they would leave out such an important aspect of PSO

The PSO areas weren't in the original version's game data, it was added in AoI. Ver1 players won't be able to do them because the levels simply aren't on the disc.

Well that changes everything. Mags in the expansion are chopped into two categories as weapons, TSCMs and RSCMs. TSCMs basically act as off-hand off hand Wands with faster casting speed, while RSCMs are little turret weapons equiped to the left hans. They are nothing like the Mags of PSO save for their appearance.

Even TECH-MAG and Range-MAG. Those seem to be a little less confusing since they actaully state what they are without worrying about acronyms.

It's to-may-to to-mah-to. One in the same as they are both in the game, so I see no problem with using either.

Thanks for replying. I am just getting started and was trying to figure out why MAG (the little floating things) weren't present in the original PSU> Glad to hear that the expansion does feature v2 aspects and will have some similarities to PSO even though MAG will have a different role

also try not to capitalize them as a "MAG"(the oncoming event) and "mag"(those things) have different meanings.

I have a question about PSO clothes how do we go about abtaining them? cuz they aren't badge trade ins according to psupedia so do we just buy them at the clothes shop? anyone know?
