Online: So, whats after MAG...

Okay, I know MAG is coming on April 25th, and I am just as excited as most of you are. I have a few questions though. What are we getting on PSU after MAG and Dengeki Cup? Will a new expansion be out at years end? Just looking for some answers. If we don't get many updates after MAG, I will start playing FFXI until Dengeki.

after MAG expect class levels to go to 20 and a new moatoob mission. we do get our updates very different from JP so i am unsure in what order we will be getting our updates. check the JP's newest updates for this week, just scroll down a bit on the general forums to see what we'll eventually get http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

There is still the matter of S2ing various missions, also we have yet to get various Story Missions, and we don't have the Il Cabo Base mission yet. Also JPN just got a new mission on Neudaiz, and there is the GBR thing, and Caves showing up on Neudaiz like FoI. Oh, and getting the second mission on Rykros. I think that's about all we're missing between us and JPN at this point, aside from the events.

what i would expect would be an update with the second rykos mission right after MAG. then 2 weeks after lvl 20 classes, then the new moatoob mission, and then the new story mission

They can do what they did to us before. Give us ryucross one update, then the next out of nowhere give us the huge nudaiz update the JP just got jsut because it all ties in with the next GBR lol which i dont doubt them doing first >.>

Wow was that a post count plus 1? Since the thread has been referring to Difficulty of missions in order of planets, it's pretty safe to assume he meant the new missions on Parum. How bout alittle less smart-ass-ed-ness towards newer forum junkies in the way of innocent statements and questions. You do want to see this forum grow more don't you?
On topic. If they start slamming us with events and such, it'll be nice on one hand.. but on the other, I'll feel rushed. Why not anything during the quiet times (Ie. the last 2-3 months)

don't worry, this forum isn't as bad as the official forums. I can't stand going over there. It's a big group of elitist butt buddies. One guy has a post count above 5000 and he ends every post referring to himself in 3rd person with his initials. It's really annoying.


But on topic, it'd be nice to see another expansion towards the end of this year, add completely new stuff and re juvenate the game.

Wow. You pretty much summed up a point why I rarely speak on the official forums. Too many, there is only 1 way, people there. It's enough to make one say, "Remind me why I left FFXI again?"

My reasons for not visiting are just the opposite: PSOW is just smarter. You can actually discuss things here. There, it's either you fail or you win. No in between.

As for what's after MAG, I don't think I care. MAG seems like a great event, and there are quite a few things I want from it.

No doubt Zora. I'm just curious if we are going to get the game -evolutionary onslaught that Japan is getting at the moment. They seem to get update after event, after new mission after update after event. It just never seems to stop.

To reply to a post above me. I'm thinking about going back to FFXI in the betweens of PSU. Why didn't they spread everything out instead of having quiet time for a couple months, then the onslaught?

A wave of system adjustments including those to photon art EXP, Guntecher equipment, laser cannons and swords.
Non-event versions of the MAG missions. (Expect this immediately after MAG comes to an end.)
Seal of the Dark God, a mission in the RELICS of Rykros which leads to a new lobby, Falz Memoria.
Remote Base, a new mission on Moatoob taking place in Il Cabo.
Chapters 4 and 5 of Episode 3, "Separation From Mother" and "The Results of Ambition," respectively.
Type level cap increase to LV20, character level increase to LV140.
Fighmaster, Gunmaster and Masterforce
Certain PA caps increasing to LV50 related to the addition of the three master types.
New clothing and parts
Our version of the Dengeki Mission Carnival, whatever it may end up being called. (I know you mentioned it, but I'm throwing it in here for the sake of completion. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif)
"Electric Festival," a new item exchange mission which will take the place of Dengeki's exchange mission after the event ends.
A second wave of system updates including equipment adjustments to Fighgunners, PA cap adjustments to Wartechers, Fortetechers and Acrotechers and an HP adjustment to Fortetechers. Also includes PP cost reduction for non-PA-linked rifle bullets and Gi- and Nos-series TECHNICs.
Sakura Warpath, a new mission taking place in Neudaiz's Saguraki C.D.
Fires of Illusion, a new rare free mission on Neudaiz. (Caves of Illusion, Inferno of Illusion, Fire Hole of Illusion, Gaping Volcanic Crevasse of Illusion, take your pick. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif)
Various adjustments to how rare missions are found. (Time playing a big factor in your chances of a rare mission popping up.)
The next GBR, which will be on Neudaiz.
New S2 missions on Neudaiz. (White Beast, Sacred Stream, Hill of Spores, Dancing Birds and Sakura Blast)
Adjustments made to enemies in particular missions making it difficult (if not impossible) to AFK level photon arts.
A small system update which changes how prices are displayed in shops. Meseta values are color-coded as they increase from 100,000 and up.
Various new weapons, line shields and units from events and new missions. Casino Voloyal's exchange counter will also have some new stuff added to it.
Alright, I think that covers pretty much everything, including the stuff that will be released on the Japanese servers tonight.
