View Full Version : MAG Live Support Schedule

XCosmosX
Apr 9, 2008, 08:14 PM
To make Maximum Attack G the best supported and most fun event we have ever run, we are very pleased to announce that we will be covering both servers with live in-game customer support five days a week between 4PM and 8PM PDT.
The Live Support Schedule will be:

Monday 4PM to 8PM PDT

Tuesday 4PM to 8PM PDT

Wednesday OFF

Thursday 4PM to 8PM PDT

Friday 4PM to 8PM PDT

Saturday 4PM to 8PM PDT

Sunday OFF

This Schedule will run from Saturday 4/26 to Thursday 5/22.

Friday 4/25 we will be kicking off the M.A.G. event with an informal community gathering from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.

Support will take place within the party mission waiting room areas in the GUARDIANS branches on Parum, Neudaiz, and Moatoob. This will allow us to deal with a handful of users on both servers at a time. Although we may settle on one primary location, at first we will use the in-game announcement system to tell you the universe, planet and party name to find us in when we open up a support shift.

If there are no support issues on any given day we will use this time to patrol, join you in missions, or hang out in the branch lobbies and chat. We are announcing this schedule in advance to encourage players to run community events during our support hours.

We would like Maximum Attack G to be fun for everyone, and we will be trying to immediately respond to any reported cheating, scamming, obscenity or abusive behavior reported to us in game. Responding to issues reported through forums and support forms will also be a high priority during the event, please continue to use those when you can't reach us in game.

-ChillAura

Well, i guess its nice to know that GMs will be involved in this.

Eh...

I hope they're giving away stuff. All they do is attract attention and shut down whatever area they are in, due to the masses of cockridersplayers who follow their every move.

For the recruitment missions. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif They're the perfect spot to get a small group together with a GM to avoid the normal lobby spam.

It feels good knowing that they care enough about the event to set stuff like this up.

The only problem with this is every room they're in is going to be a race to see who can join the fastest.

I agree, don't see how they can standby for more then 5 minutes before they log off to do something else. But it is kinda cool that they show the thought.

Your guys negativity is amazing. A GM is going out of the way to, well do his job and you think he won't do it? You guys are real champions.

Less people running missions and a higher chance of me getting the spread needle http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

So, I wonder if it's just going to be ChillAura or if they're going to actually have more than one GM (read: 2) to go with the "we" he used in that post http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

except when it comes out of a bouquet, but yes. chamga is lv4 all day.

edit: kubara knockoff a-rank r-mags with light element have a lower charm level too, i think. dorics/conics may be better.

With so many players on 360, so few people are going to get one of these...

Apr 10, 2008, 01:53 PM
I don't know. The rate at which people seem to be quitting will certainly up the odds. Of the 5 people I played with, only 1 is left. The update gap makes it feel like there is no reason to play, and the event will be novel for a second, but it will not be enough to draw people back in only to wait another 4 months for something substantially new.

Well I think Chillaura is doing something to keep the staff connected with the community which is great plus if they're localized in one universe... it could be a method to force people who hide themselves in remote universes to come to the main uni (IF they decide to be in one uni)

Though I can attest that this might be a cheap alternative to MAG MAG girls unless they're planning to be girls themselves.. lol

Geesh, how can you guys turn something thats an attempt to do good into whining about it existing? Its better that they're trying to aid in the event rather than not do anything. They could just leave us all to ourselves, and leave those who may not have access to such sites as this for information to fend for themselves off of word of mouth in game.

I think the cause for most people's cynicism is that ST was never trying very hard to help in the first place. Its not as if they were helping, stopped, and now they are trying to make their presence known again. Absentee GMs has been a problem from the very beginning. I've never seen a GM nor do I know anyone that has.

If they are planning to do something like this for the US then that is very nice because it was pretty fun. Maybe I'll try and get in one of the parties again. XD

Botched compensation? Explain. (I missed White Day due to lack of internet. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif )

That's because they're usually buried under spamming text and people whenever they show up on our side.

What will the presence of GMs add to the event or your playing experience? Or are they celebrities to you?

Any info they disseminate ingame could just as easily be accomplished on the website or through an alert.

A lot of you need a support group for people in abusive relationships.

Xbox360 had a full two weeks of White Day. However, the PS2/PC White Day lobby was to be delayed (and therefore shortened) by a week. However, they managed to get the lobby up during a maintenance on Tuesday, so PS2/PC would have only lost 5 days of White Day. However, that (Easter) weekend, the PS2/PC login servers went down, so most of PS2/PC missed out on another 2-3 days of White Day.

Uh huh sounds like you need one.

Point being is that being able to interact with a GM rather than just posting some notice a website indeed is different because its a lot more personal to actually stand up, go directly to the customer themselves and talk.

Before Chillaura became active with the community, you know that the community was far more bitchy and rather angry at SEGA for being disconnected with the players of the game. Now with Chillaura being so active, not only we've been treated better (communication of problems, issues with the game, trying to understanding everyone's frustration) but Chillaura tries to keep the staff and the community together because we're all part of the game some way or another and we've are in a situation where we have a better understanding between both groups than before.
