Well I was thinking about coming back
But for either PC or 360?
I was wondering how the population is on both?

I was also thinking which one has a better economy...?

I don't play PC/PS2 but I have heard many of them speak about how the population is pretty tiny. That's all I can say about their servers.

I can comment on the 360 though, Weekdays primetime uni 1 full, uni 2 mostly full, sometimes all the way.

On weekends uni 1 full, uni 2 full, uni 3 3-4 stars, sometimes full during events etc. I've never seen 4 become anything more than 1 star

PC population is 2-3 stars at most, during weekends.

sounds like they are still both tiny... T_T well I have a 105 on PC and only a lvl 55 on 360... both seem to have the same population as i left. PC it is...

The entire population is in the White Beast lobby anyways, so size doesn't really matter in this case.

I don't know much about 360 population, but pc/ps2 is roughly 2 1/2 to 3 stars at peak. I always see parties though.

This sums this and any other population thread up quite nicely.

Not really true on everybody being in White Beast. On the 360, the population always has people running at Raffon Field Base, Egg Thieves, Her Secret Mission, Dallgun Viewing Plaza, and some of the other Colony and Parum beginners' missions.

NO no no. On Pc/ps2 everyone is at white beast. But if its your party people are usually open to goig somewhere else if you ask them. so its a good starting location.

Of course theres always people running other missions. How many parties do you see over there at these other places? One or two? How many are actually a small group of friends?

There really isn't anywhere else to go when it comes to random games.

We should start a movement to bring people back/get new people involved with PSU!

I oughta make a banner to put on my myspace.

Very true. But then, there's plenty of people here, why aren't we spreading out? creating more games in other areas. As long as all of you keep doing white beats runs with everyone else, it'll stay that way. I solo tons of other areas, because I can never find groups, but screw white beast, Im sick of it.

I m sure our population in PC/PS2 server will increase a lot during MAG. since most the ppl who coming back mentioned MAG. and most of non-hardcore players also say, they are taking a break until MAG.
so it mean those 2 big group will meet at MAG.

generally the whole Phantasy Star series was built off console gaming. To generalize the populace allocation.

DC, GC, PS2, lolbox PSO players have all flocked to xbox360 PSU.

PSOBB players have generally flocked to PSU PC/PS2 servers.

Most of us on PC/PS2 servers are loafing around waiting for someone to leak a UCE.

I wonder if there's any reason people do white beast so much?
Bruce, Egg Thieves, HSM, all have better rewards, it just takes slight strategy to do them. I wonder if only the kids are the ones left playing, and that's all they think they can do?
:/

I wonder why it's always neccessay to insult people cause they do something you don't like?

Put a dragon at the end of a mission and you attract people. Anyway, some people will come back for MAG and then leave again after it's over.

XP per monster is higher. Egg Thieves and HSM don't give quite as much XP and have fewer monsters. They're a good choice if you want MP or mission reward meseta.

It's not so much that it's all that can be done, rather it's more like it's the best for character levels. That's why I play it, anyway.

I actually saw alot of people at military subway the other day. It was like mini white beast. I wish more people did frag runs lately. I'll have alot of arts to get soon.

About white beast, why spam it all the time? Here's an example of a spammer. I'm doing white beast to cap in as little time as possible, then I'll have nothing to do and leave the game except for events! That's why I try to avoid white beast and enjoy my days of being low lvled.

I think what you should ask yourself is, play on the PC server with lower population, or play on 360 servers with higher population, but also be completely unable to play missions with robots, or with many techers in your party, due to slowdowns causing you to reset your 360 entirely.

The choice is yours.

BigBadWolf
Apr 16, 2008, 03:54 AM
Well I'm not shocked the population is so low. White Beast was added like what? Near the beginning? I came back to PSU after like 3 months, only to find that people are still doing White Beast. That's gotta be a record or something.

Of course, by "compltely unable" you must mean "have to avoid some robot spawn sets (2 on Goliath, 2 on Grove, dunno about train) and Sacred Stream."

Well either you mean that or you're stupid.

Well...if you avoid those spawns it could be said that you're not doing a mission with robots, I guess... <_<
