here are 2 screenshots i took showing the range difference of the new unit, lumira/spread. i used lv 41 foie to hit the boxes in front of the tree.

in the first screenshot, i had the lumira/spread equipped and i was able to destroy a box from the spot shown.

the 2nd screenshot is showing the normal range needed to destroy the box.

*edit*
i was using radeega w/ lumira/spread equipped today and noticed the range seemed farther than normal, so i did some testing. turns out ra techs are affected as well.

I'm assuming that's pretty good, because the range looks a lot longer with it equipped.

Nice. A bit... awekward if you're aim is off a bit, though...

"Stay on target.... Stay on target!......GAH! Negative, impacted on the surface."

That's nice, but, how are you going to fit a Har quick and this unit on your armor at the same time?

Elitism aside, will this be useful? I'd think that the range of most techs were high enough. Big enough to stay out of the way, small enough to see what you're doing. It can see it being nice for cases where your techs wouldn't hit normally, like hitting enemies across a chasm. But otherwise, would it be worth not having another head unit on?

Well, basic techs have a short delay, so this unit would be nice if you're mostly using those.

Well going to the point it's good if you like to do solo and have problem with olgomons barta range. Can't look for another use tho.

This unit won't be too useful until everything doesn't die in 2 seconds.

Well taking that MF casting speed is like having a har/quick on meh won't hurt to use this unit.

That could be useful for Dam and Gi tech range.

I remember reading somewhere that any unit affecting technic range only applies to the basic, fire-in-a-straight-line technics. Foie, Barta, Zonde, Diga and Megid. Perhaps the OP could test it with others, to confirm?

That's pretty lame. I was hoping it could be used like Marina's Bag.

Actually it's effect to me doesn't sound too bad to me in certain solo situations, though I'd still stick with Har / Quick or Red / Force as fT or MF.
There's no point using and trying to hit with such range in a party especially where most of the mobs are in motion.
Doing fast and big numbers is definately more worth it.

Sit in the middle of the arena and spam Noszonde on Dimmogalous.

mf is faster but a ft with a har quick vs a mf without one is still faster, but only slightly
