has anyone played the top-down shooter called "Ikaruga"?

It has to be one of my favorite games and watching a video replay of the 1st on the leaderboards from the 360 version, wow that guy is AMAZING O.O

seriously though i love this game. i get about half-way through the last boss and then lose :/

ikaruga is a game full of awesome. one of the best looking shooters out there. the gameplay is requires rediculous amount of precision and replay and doesn't have the appeal of all out and crazy like most shooter do. try the flash version (http://www.rasysa.com/pkg/style/length/short/d.phtml?st=16525&page=3) if you don't have a dc, gamecube, or 360.

i highly recomend any game made by treasure. the prequel, radiant silver gun is a much better game if you can get your hands on it.

lol XD

also i didnt know there was a prequel! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

btw kion, have u beaten teh game with 5 continues or less? :/ thats how many continues i have and i keep losing at the very end >.<

what kind of game makes the second to the last level harder than the last!? lol making me lose all my lives before the last boss :S

Kion

sadly, i beat the game with an action replay and it still took a ton of continues. i've gotten to the last boss in 5 continues (normally), the ending stage is simply rediculously impossible. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif if you're bent on actually beating the game it helps to youtube it and memorize sequences. there's a kind of intended path for somestages, that's why i don't think it's a fun as other shumps that allow more freedom.

yeah stage 4 (http://youtube.com/watch?v=6A2S5DuBUok) is a head ache. stage 5 is short, but that's because the boss is pretty relentless. no part of that game was designed to be easy. treasure does not make games for push overs.

I've always heard people talk about how cool it is, but never actually played it myself. When my 360 comes back I guess I'll download the demo, and then probably the full version. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

(deliberately stolen from the snatch scene with the dog and the diamond)

Avi: Tony.
Bullet Tooth Tony: What?
Avi: Look in the [skuda].
Bullet Tooth Tony: What do you mean "look in the [skuda]?"
Avi: I mean open him up.
Bullet Tooth Tony: It's not as if it's a tin of baked beans! What do you mean "open him up" ?
