Need your ideas of fun in PSU

Yep, i need some ideas or suggestions of what you do for fun on PSU because i don't have any goals or know what to do on PSU at the moments. Any suggestions of what you do for fun would be more than suffice to me. Thanks in advance for your helps and ideas.

If you let me in some of your ideas, goals, or suggestions, they can help me enjoy the game more or have more ideas of what to do when i don't know what to do.

I can say that if i´m usually out of ideas on what to do.
I either take a break from the game a couple of days or just try mission that no one seems to run because of no decent rewards.
But i run for variety these days.

Lab Recovery S2 and Crimson Beast S2 is what i usually start with and then transport to Guardian Colony to run through Dark Sattelite S2 and Seed Awakened S2.
That is what spice things up for me at least.

Stop doing white beast. Your fun rate will instantly increase.

On a more serious note, why not just do a "randomplanet tour" and do all the missions on said planet? Maybe even grab a friend or two and just run through them on whatever difficulty you want. Or you can go around doing all the missions with level 100+ monsters and see if you get any lucky finds. Hell, do some Plains Overlord runs for old times sake. If you have a bunch of dark element weapons, do some Holy ground S2 runs. The mobs are only level 85 on S2 but relic edge and catilium drops there for some possible money making. There is alot of stuff to do if people would just branch out and actually try other missions.

Level your light bullets, you'll need them for the ruins. I've been busy getting my palette and class ready for mag, and my future pallet ready for master class. EXPENSIVE but it will be worth it.

Well if you've got the character slot make something extremely random Eg ive made a beast AT with damspells. Make something thats going to be tedious but not mind destroyingly tedious lol.

Do runs on all the planets unlock all the areas if you havn't already.

Solo for a change of pace
Try a new battle PM type
Get a full makeover
Gamble at the casino
Run a string of random missions (I like the dice idea)
Browse through the PSU Item Database, find a weapon, armor, room deco, etc you don't have and farm, synth, grind
Prepare your pallette for Mag
Story Mode (the goggles, they do nothing!)

Quit the default PSU soundtrack and put something else that makes you boogie down while in missions. In my case i switched out most of the PSU soundtrack with PSO and Gunz stuff.

I'm the type of person who hates grinding when it's intentional. That is, lets say I need to level a bullet. Instead of focusing on leveling the bullet, I may be hunting for an item or trying different things in missions. For instance, trying to find the shortest way through a mission. I've always tried to complete a mission in full, but I recently found out I could complete VoC in like 3 minutes if I skipped most of the first level and could probably rush through block 2 faster if I killed certain mobs in the first half.

If you want something to do that doesn't feel like grinding, try playing some of the lesser-known missions, maybe try to learn the rare maps, especially if they aren't listed on PSUPedia.

I like that idea. I think I'll try it next time I get a bunch of friends together who can't decide on a mission. I'd have to actually get dice, though. It just wouldn't be the same to have a computer do it.

Chuck_Norris: avoiding boredom is not an easy task, at least for some. I find myself bore when i have no specific goal in this game.

Yusaku_Kudou: i would hunt for FoI, but i guess i am not aiming for Halp, so i will probably just hunt FoI for fun and for exp. when i have nothing to do.

Rust: hmm..interesting dice idea if only i can gather some friends to play with.

Try doing frag runs Mad Beast S or S2.
Fight For Food or Mad Creatures, it has a nice surprise if you play it on A or higher.
Holy Ground to PA lv. or do a Frag Run.

Aim for a level, like 70, so you can do White Beast S runs.
Hunt for a certain item, like an awesome weapon or armor.
Ask to play with some of the people here on PSOW! That always turns out much more fun than you think!
Experiment with new/different race/class combinations to find the one you enjoy playing.

Or, do a world tour! As in, do every single mission avalible on a slightly easier rank, and see what all the missions, enemies, environments, bosses are like!

Used to play Blackjack for small meseta amounts with friends while idling. That was pretty amusing.

You can play "toss" with Olgamons,get one star neutral twin sabers and 21+ Rising Crush on a melee weak character. Just get a freeze resist and see how far you can launch em'. I'm serious,it's pretty funny. That last hit if landed right will send them flying for a good portion of the map.

One thing I liked doing for fun is watching the Sageetas in Sakura Blast (or anywhere else that spawns them in large isolated packs) joust each other with their charging attacks. It's amusing to see them set up, kick at the dirt and BAM! they both topple each other over.

Once one dies I skip over to the other and congratulate it with a nice shot in the back, with a B'Duki Boa. If they both die, then move on. The jousting is the main fun part, finishing the survivor is a little sadistic bonus.

Oh, I forgot the important part. I had to confuse them first. Confuse them then run and hide, so they don't target the spectator.

One more thing, confusing large packs of Boomas also lead to some amusing fights.

Started getting my bullets lvl'ed up again, and i've been touring other places then white beasts just because it's boring killing the same fucking creatures/boss over and over again for days/weeks on end.

Get your gear ready for MAG and do a makeover, i just changed Lux's look and job again.

My idea of fun in any game is to be in a team full of maxed out retarded gear, roll up on a high difficulty mission, and still get the shit kicked out of everybody.

In PSU, my ideal mission is one that requires such teamwork that by the time you've finshed the boss, everyone in your team has emptied out all their scapedolls, moon automizers, photon charges and trimates, and are enjoying the amazing drops they got from the awesome boss battle at the end of the 20 miniute mission so they can log out happy and do it all over again some other day and Fail.

Thats the sign of a goooooooooddddd mission. So much fun that all i can do afterwards is log out and do something else.
