Hi. I'm your host for this thread. Generic Reflective Glasses Anime Guy-shin, but you may call me Hank. I will guide you through the animation cheese known as anime.

Look at this guy. Why on earth would you care about what he does, says, feels... you don't.

How is this guy even a villain? He's not! He then helps the good guys? That's supposed to be a twist? Talented writing? There are toddlers who scribble better quality scripts than the horse that defecated this idea.

Are you kidding me? And people idolize and emulate this kind of behavior?

Can someone please illustrate to me why there is much teenage (and potentially older) lust for this one? Yes, this is a classic example of anime's usual female character portrayal: docile, timid, skeletons in the closet, and downright boring... with blue hair. The other archetype is an aggressive, whiny, belligerent, annoying female character... usually with red or green hair. Those writers really stretch their imaginations to dream up these kinds of creatively inspirational character dynamics.
Well, that's all for this installment but stay tuned as we delve into... other stuff. In the meantime, enjoy my other form, Generic Attempt at Looking Cool By Smoking a Cigarette and Wielding a Masamune-dudeman, but you can call him/me Fred.
