That's pretty much the case for X4-X6.

High Max is still the best part of that game. Him and the music that plays when you fight the intro boss and Nightmare Mother.

Very true. Z-Buster is overpowered rape, he makes the Nightmare Mother, High Max, and Gate fights *much* easier, it's just ridiculous how strong he is.

I have never spent 1.5 hours playing a SINGLE LEVEL in a Mega Man game before... then this stage came along. Seriously, did they have to put five of those minibosses in the same stage?

Also, does anyone know how to beat High Max the first time you meet him?

X7 is terrible, but X8 actually improved a lot of things. I don't know what they were thinking with Lumine, though. And Command Mission is fucking awesome, better than either X7 or X8 easily.

It took me a couple tries to figure out how to beat High Max but I didn't know the exact method until I looked it up after I beat the game. I just fucking hit him with every attack Zero had and eventually he died.

Oh yeah, High Max is back? That is not cool haha. Well, its cheap now. Maybe on my next break I'll pick it up if its as you guys say. I still need to install PSU heh, but 3DSM is just alot of work lately, keeps piling up.

You have to use Zero... shiiit.... so it was pointless for using X for a good hour or so, hahaha.

No you don't.

Hit him with a buster shot, preferrably and charged one, and he'll blink white for a second or three. Then, use a special weapon (I used the ax thingy) and hit him. Rinse and repeat. Essential that you hit him with the buster EVERY TIME HE COMES BACK DOWN. The battle will go *somewhat* faster.

BTW, I HAETS High Max.
