Nitro's sprite edits/boredom thread

Yep. I'm going to be working with sprites more now. A simple edit, captioned as "Be careful!"

So here's another Faust edit. By the way, I got these from Ronin's gif image.

Simply got rid of the humongor scalpel(I guess?) and added a thumb on the left hand. Also, the left foot has a buckle that I modeled from the right foot.

Besides the thumb looking like part of an eggplant, I'd say I did pretty good.

Could you import sprites into RPG Maker? I wondered if I could make a Sonic RPG (lol too late).

How do you get the sprites like that? Do you just take a picture of the character, then base it off of that?

it's a bit of both
if you look in our avatar selection, you should see some basic avies for pso chars that you see here

when i first started, they were the base for my custom chars
i used in-game snapshots to turn/customize them to my actual chars - the exact way they dressed here ;3

too bad, all my snapshots are on an old dead hd, so i pretty much lost them all ._.
unless i can find way to revive it ;o

turns out it was Alex who found it. It was me and Tact that used them extensively to make a bunch of FKL comics (alex made some to, but not as many.)
