Does anyone else think that if Crush40 did a cover of the AotI opening, it'd be a lot cooler than the version used now?

i kinda think its good (compared to the PSU theme song)


however i did hear the remix (AOTI version) on some guys cell phone n my faical expression was o_0

Crush40 is the group that does most of the Sonic music, with exception of like 2 of the more recent games, I think it's all been pretty good. ST actually didn't use them for the Seven Rings theme and Crush40 made their remix of it and it kicked so much more ass.

What band performs it now? At any rate, a Crush40 cover would probably sound better, and may possibly exist.

It sounds okay, it's not overly impressive, but it doesn't sound that bad.

The issue I had with Seven Rings in Hand isn't the song itself... but how many freaking times it plays during the game. Main theme, menus, EVERYWHERE but during level gameplay.

As for the AoI theme song... I think it's actually good. Not as great as it could have been, but still good. A Crush40 cover would certainly be different, but I don't know if it would be that much better.

Sounds like the kind of generic non-offensive rock you'd find from a band at a middle-school dance.

Personally, I preferred the more haunting and somber music of previous games. The PSII opening theme, PSIII opening theme, Whole New World, etc. Even PSIV's opening theme, despite opening rather threateningly, was quite fitting.

Although the best of the bunch, imo, being the ending theme to PSO Ep I - "Can still see the Light".

crush 40 -1000 thats like -960. thats a REALLY low number...sheesh
