View Full Version : Dancing Birds AotI: PSUpedia Accuracy?

Drats. During the Easter holiday weeks, I've been able to find 2 Halp Serafi Boards, but only one Serafi Feather.

I was intending to get enough S-Feathers to synth these two boards, and also to have the 2 needed for a "Daggers of Serafi" Board, for when the Rappy Noels come around.

Now, PSUpedia says that the giant rare Rappy Igg drops Serafi Feathers.

Actual Question: Is PSUpedia's Rare Map Spawns correct?
I seem to recall that there were some issues with this a month or so after the level was released, and wanted to know how dependable that map list was.

Or, what indeed a reliable rare map listing for Dancing Birds would be.

Thanks in Advance.

If you're going to hunt Rappy Igg, good luck.

The rare map on Dancing Birds is almost impossible to find. BY FAR it is the hardest rare spawn in the game.

(However, in the strangest event, I managed to find them back-to-back in 2 missions. Didn't get a serafi feather, though.)

If you want a serafi feather, just buy it at a shop.

You know, you could ask this question ON PSUpedia ;o

Go nuts.

As for my reply: it's as accurate as it can be with limited user input and an extremely low encounter rate for the rare maps.

As far as I know, it is correct, but I personally have never had a rare spawn there; they seem exceptionally rare (i.e. PSUv1 rates) on that mission.

PSUpedia usually has accurate rare map information.

I'd say "always" but SEGA has a history of changing rare maps, can't blame PSUpedia for that, though.

I've heard that the AotI missions have different rare maps depending on difficulty level. For example, the rare map spawns for Scarred Planet S are different from the ones for Scarred Planet C. I personally don't pay much attention to map spawns, so I can't say for sure if this is true or false.

Ok, something's odd with the Halp Serafi boards - they have a 100% success rate?? Can anyone confirm this?

Don't hunt the feathers on dancing birds, better off just buying one.

@WHITEKNIGHT: Why? currently, Serafi Feathers go for about 1mil a pop on the PS2/PC servers....
