Hello all

I've been playing for some time now, but still have several misc questions. I would appreciate if someone could answer some of them or link me to a good guide. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

First of all about PMs. I am aiming for a pure 100 lvl Tech pm and wondering, if i feed it EX device to become 41X striking for example, will it keep its tech synth capabilities? PSUpedia sais that every Pm model has its so called "Syn trend". Does this trend actually influence your % of sucessful chance synthing tech/strike/armor/range stuff?

Another thing that surprises me is that all 45x have "tech syn trend" except 453 which has 'firearms'. Why is that? And all 46x are striking, except 464 which is tech.. O.o

http://psupedia.info/Partner_Machinery#GH_45x_series

Also, if it's possible to change a Pm into another serie without losing its synth capabilities, what Pm should i get as a forteTecher? I don't think that i really need 45X cos I'm force myself and buff and heal rather well.
And for my fotregunner alt a tech Pm should be nice?
I know that its better to choose Pm which is"Independent and Autonomous." So it wont just stay near you doing nothing. Right?

Secondly, i would like to know about synth chances. If i have pure Pm, it wont have 100% synthing S weapons, or will it? How do i know what will my chances be for any particular weapon?

Does my character level influence it or only PM lvl matters? (Basically i can create lvl 1 character and get its PM to lvl 100 and then synth stuff as good as if my character was lvl 130?)

I heard that Kubara weapons are always harder to synth...

Its a bit stupid, but i love Kohibumiteri and want to get it mainly for look. I have the [B] and some materials already. Has anyone synthed it on pure range Pm, what are chances to suceed? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

About Grinders. I have tryed to grind some weapons several times and sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I read upon grinding and now i understand it better but not completely.
So i have several Base Grinder B for example, i go to synth vendor shop and buy [B]Grinder B. Its possible to synth from 1 to 5 grinders at the time. Is it right that the more you synth the more chance you have to get a better one?

So i get x amount of Grinder B+y.
I should go to the right Weapon synth shop (Clyez for Kubara weapons). I noticed that for first upgrade, even Grinder B+1 will result in "No chance of failure". But later its harder. I had upgrade failed with "very high success" chance. Is very high like 80-90% and hight 60-70%?

I know that its possible to use higher level Grinders on lower lvl weapons. So what will be better for a B weapon, Grinder B+8 or A+3 for example? Cos as far as i have seen, b+8 cost much more than a+3 >.<

Just curious, when trying to grind 9/10 weapon to max and using Grinder+10 what is the chance of success?

Another thing, while shopping at vendor, sometimes you see a (!) icon near the item, what does that mean? Or 2 'arrows' looking up and down? Like this:

X means that you cant equip it, i know http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Thats all, thanks in advance for answering http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif))

! are for new items I believe and ^ and v are for compatibility with other items (clothes).

The "!" next to an item in a vendor shop just means that it's "new". Like it was just added to the game on the last update I'm not sure what the arrows mean http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif;

For a 9/10 item that you want to grind once more, the risk of it breaking is very high. Pray to the Sega gods...

When you get a girnder [B] you can synth up to 5 at a time if you wish, so long as you have the neccasary amount of bases to go with it.

Your PM level is exclusive to your PM. So, yes, you could have a level 100 PM on a level 1's profile and it would function just as well as anybody elses

When you synth a weapon, it will show you the % chance for having it succeed. It's a bit different with different types of weapons. For example, my pure tech PM has an 81% chance at making wands, but only 61% for madoogs... It's a tad annoying at times <_<;

When you change a PM from it's original form (IE 455 to 441), it keeps the grind stats it started with. So if you made a pure gunner pm and you want it to fight at close range, you can change it so it will fight at close range, but it is still a pure gunner PM (I hope that made sense)

The arrows on clothing are indeed there so you know which pieces of clothing are compatible with each other, for example if there's a red arrow pointing down on a shirt it can't be worn with a pair of pants that have a red arrow pointing up.

Success rate of Kohibumiteri on pure PM is 91%

Thanks a lot for answers http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

So can anyone advice any good PM model for a forteTecher and forteGunner?

Yesterday i tried grinding B weapon from 5/9 to 6/9. When i have chose to use B+8 or B+9 (dont remember) it was like "high"chances, but with A+5 grinder it was like 50-50.

So does that mean that you can use higher level grinders, but they will be equal to lower level one? Like if i use B+5 or A+5 on a B weapon there will be no difference?
I don't have many grinders atm, or i'd try it out by myself >.<

For the Force PM models I'm not sure.

For the grinders, what have typed in your post is correct.
The rank of the grinder won't matter, its the numbers that increase the chance.
