View Full Version : Online: How did I get FOI?

Today I ran Mad creatures S2 and Linear Line S to get my pm to level 30 for butler. So I buy the butler pm and I decide to try it out at Desert Goliath. I go into the counter and there is FOI. I hadn't ran a single moatoob mission that whole day. So how did I get it?

it doesn't have to be a Moatoob mission, it's any mission.

you got it by pure luck, it appears randomly after any mission on moatoob is completed. good job!

Well, the last time you did a moatoob mission, did you check for foi afterwwards?

Im not sure but i dont think it would of matter bcuz i believe if you "had" FOI even if u wasnt aware of it, n u went to another mission regardless if its another moatoob mission, it would go away

I'm not sure but i don't think it would have mattered because even if you "had" FOI and you weren't aware of it, it would go away if you went to another mission regardless if its another moatoob mission.

this is correct, starting a new mission (including FOI) removes the special mission from your choices, sounds like some freak occurrence to me.

I'll vouch for this one. Half the instances that I have flagged FOI have been done after completing a mission on Neudaiz. It couldn't always have been after doing a Moatoob mission since the only mission done on Moatoob in-between those instances have been FOI itself, not to mention starting any mission while still having FOI flagged will cancel it.

It's purely lucky. Thankfully the new on will be abit easier to get if you have more people in your party.

This is true.
Me and a party were FOI hunting so all we did was do Linear Line C then go to Moatoob to check if it was there and eventually we got it.

Yes, completing any mission can give you FoI... IF you bother going to Moatoob to check for it every time. I check sometimes, like after I'm done with my runs for the day. I've only gotten it that way once or twice before though, the other time I got it I was actually doing Moatoob runs.
