What does Maximum Attack G mean?

By the story presented in-game, "Maximum Attack" is the name of the battle simulator found on Rykros. The "G" I assume is for Gurhal since the full name of the event (at least in the Japanese version) is "Maximum Attack in Gurhal."

Maximum Attack G- [N.] The term used for a fan service event used to excite old players and bring out new ones too. Although the areas are small, it is related to the previous series in such a way to bring pure joy and excitement to those who await its arrival.
