I just started a few days ago, I bothered to put the time in to make a human face like my own. Though if you play, maybe you can help answer me this question, whom the fuck do we learn attack skills from, and how do we level them. I can't seem to find this in any freaking guides, google be damned.

from what I recall, there's like a big tower like place in the corner of the starting town. Talk to someone there who will send you on quests so you can learn new skills. But every level gives you skill points you can apply to whatever skill you want when you open up the skill tree thing.

I've checked every person in the damn city that has a freaking gold shield over their head. None have offered any sort of skill quests. Also, if I open the skill tree, and click on my starter skill, nothing happens, I can't level it, etc. On top of that, I'm double the cultivation and main lv requirement for my next skill. argh

also not that if you were a lion, your starting town wouldn't actually be my starting town, though I will check the beast town now.
