I hate English, I'll be the strict math teacher

"How much force will it take to hold this two ton weight (dangling from this oh so strained cable) from falling 10ft onto little Jimmy's head here."

*nerd raises hand, gives correct answer*

"Very good, please trade seats with Jimmy."

"But, but, but!"

"NOW Carter,"

*Jimmy sits back at desk, and Carter comes up and sits in front of class, under the weight*

"Now then class, math also involves logic. Without it, you cannot hope to pass this class. Carter just failed this."
*pulls a lever releasing the weight, crushing Carter and spewing gore onto the kids in the front row*

"Now then, I expect you to have your 437 page textbook read and all assignments completed by this Friday. For you idiots in here, that's tomorrow."

*sits down, stares expectantly at kids, studying very hard to try and not to meet my eye*

"WELL, CLEAN UP CARTER," *sudden rushing of kids to get out cleaning materials*

"Damn lazy kids."

*goes back to reading the obituaries*

I would be the kid that was friends with all the teachers, and the kid everybody knew. I actually spent more time with the teachers than other students. But at the same time, it wasn't because I was getting good grades. I did fine, but nothing spectacular. I'm just a people person. IDK where that puts me.

Come now, stereotypes are not based on nuances and a thorough comprehension of the subject at hand. The less you know, the purer your vision (or lack thereof). Restraint is admirable but ill-suited to our purposes.

I think Haya is the lunch lady.

Jock was wrong too. You did the right thing. He failed to give the correct REASONING.

Symbolism is crap unless you can read the mind of whoever wrote it. Even then, 50/50 it wasn't symbolic in the first place, and its just language teachers running out of things to teach.

Personally, I'd gladly teach science, math, or philosophy. Especially the latter.

Final exam is oral. Counts for 99.9% of the grade. You must convince me of one thing, of your choice, from any material covered. My response is akin to this tortoise (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_the_Tortoise_Said_to_Achilles). Class fails.

And as punishment for failure, they get to take the remedial course over summer where I make them learn about biology... by human experimentation... on themselves. 99% don't learn to stop bleeding fast enough.

Now a new question comes to mind...is it supposed to be like a normal high school or are we going for the Disgaea 3 "demon school" thing?

if i was a student i'd probably be that kid in the back of the class, you know the really cynical one who knows the answers yet refuses to share them with the class just because he enjoys watching his peers squirm... yeah thats me (usually i let them stew for about 5 minutes then i give the answer in my best 'well no duh!' voice)

I was picturing more of a hard core, gritty school environment where fear mongering and seclusion from the in crowd are commonplace for the average Joe.

Hmm...

I would be the geek (not nerd, I actually hate books...) that is always playing games or trying to do things on the restricted internet computers, and it wouldn't matter if I had my work done or not.

Don't think I've ever seen raspberry ones, I'll have to keep my eye out for them.

Sounds like someone got their Star Trek ytmnd in thy youtoobpoops.

Except if you add the pi that's not in there. I'm sure I'm not the only one seeing it.

Plus I made all of this up. ytmnd doesn't exist, "aww picard" neither, astuarlen quote - don't exist neither, all the lot of it.
