The GM event "Casino de Fever!" kicks off on this date.

Dengeki Mission Carnival rewards
From April 24 until May 08, the following rewards will be in place:
* Megaholy Photon Fortune for all races
* 20% boost to weapon and line shield synthesis success rates
* Free Lumilass services
* Half-price clothing and parts
* 10% boost to grinding success rates
* 10x normal daily Vol Coin allowance

The following gifts will be given out to all players. Make sure you have enough room in your common box between April 24 and May 08 to receive them.
* Rappy Tippies (twin daggers)
* Speed King (RCSM)

The following item will be given out to eligible players who answered all of the questions in the quiz mission, "The Protectors' Choice," correctly. Again, make sure you have room in your common box, as it must be claimed before maintenance begins on May 08.

Story mission
Chapter 6: "Photon Harvesting 1 (http://psupedia.info/Photon_Harvesting_1)," "Photon Harvesting 2 (http://psupedia.info/Photon_Harvesting_2)"
The GUARDIANS have finally defeated the Illuminus, however a much larger task is at hand with the recent discovery of the massive HIVE, Rykros.

Item exchange mission
"The Clothier (http://psupedia.info/The Clothier)" ("Protectors' City Clothes and Parts Shop" is the full name, but we all know that when this is localized, it won't be anywhere near that long.)
I've gathered together a variety of wonderful clothes that normally are very difficult to get. Stop by and check out my selection!

This mission will likely be used to obtain the more unique clothes such as those worn by a few NPCs such as Mirei and Lumia. (This assumption coming from the clothing update mentioned below. I assume we may also see Howzer's coat and Laia's new getup somewhere down the line.)

New shop items
AOTI-exclusive weapons will be available for purchase in shops up to 8-stars. Weapon boards will go up to 9-stars in shops. Some material synthesis boards will be adjusted and new ones will also go on sale.

New casino items
The exchange counter at Casino Voloyal will receive an update.

New clothes and parts
New clothes and parts will be released along with new color variations of existing clothes. The new clothes seem to be based on Lumia's new clothing and Mirei's clothing.

Just added a little more to it. It seems that the big deal with this will be adjustments to some of the existing material synthesis boards. (The next part is a little vague. It could be "they'll be adjusted and put back on sale" or "they'll be adjusted and new ones will be put on sale.") There's also a note saying that we won't be able to purchase the old ones anymore. Eh... I wonder if this is how some of those "high elemental" gemstones like Hiorum (or whatever it's called) will be released? I think I read something about those having to be synthesized.

Anyway, what was this about new clothings? Female fleshies getting another set that stereotypes females as inferior by portraying them as either helpless lolipop lickers or sex craved beauty queens, or some vial combination of the two? Then males are getting a set that most of the population already has, and female casts getting a teching outfit? How exciting.

Well, that clothing quest seems interesting. I wonder what's going to come out of that. And of course, new casino items may be exciting.

Mainly, I just want to get that story mission. Despite how stereotypical they are (beat up bad guy, find out there's a badder guy), they're still more fun than most of what we have.

Remember that there's still Helga Neumann. Though I'm sure they're saving her mostly for Phantasy Star Portable, I'll be shocked if she doesn't make some sort of little appearance in Episode 3 to introduce players to her and set the story up for PSP.

Who want's to look like Laia? lol. Seriously though, her presedential clothes do look pretty sweet.

As for the storyline, it's played out pretty much how everyone expected it to. To be honest though, with the backstory of how the MAG missions were found it's stupid not to think that The gigantic HIVE sized planet Rykros is where the final battle takes place with the assumedly third form of Falz being the last boss of the game.

The quiz mission can be played multiple times. Also, more questions are added as the event runs. Aside from questions with a definite correct answer, there are ones that are opinion based. With these, if I'm remembering correctly, whichever answer has the most responses is the "correct" answer.

Paradi Cataract is a special drop from Dark Falz. So, it'll be available in the post-MAG mission Program DF' (yes, with the stray apostrophe) and our next Rykros mission, Seal of the Dark God.

Going from a picture on the Japanese image board, I've updated our article on The Clothier (http://psupedia.info/The_Clothier) at PSUPedia. So far it only has female clothing, but I'll add the guys' clothes once I find out what they are.

Some of the required items are a bit unexpected. I wonder how many folks will be willing to part with a Har / Quick, 30 Citrad and more for the Amorosso Set?

I DO like the concept of "rare clothing" though, since not everyone will be able to get them. And unlike hunting rare weapons, which is mostly based on luck, it takes real effort to gather the materials you need to get these outfits.

These rewards really are steep. I'm glad we finally have hard to get clothing, and I hope I find more things similar to the SPF style. I don't understand, though, why Lumia's outfit requires a har/quick when it's both similar and inferior to store bought sets already out. It's probably the most boring set in the list. Lucky the maiden outfit seems easy to get, sans the caseal version (though that SUV isn't too hard to get, is it?). I'm glad the bikini sets are harder to get, makes people work for being perverts.

By the way, did all these cloths that came out only come out in this quest, or are there more that came out in the stores?

Yeah, but still, you're effectively paying 800k PLUS 30 Citrads. Tormads aren't terribly cheap (seeing as they're used in the synthesis of the Kohibumiteri), and you need thirty of them? It's ludicrous. I guess if you like the 'loli' look, then sure, you'd pay, regardless of how much you need to exchange.

Like I said, I'm glad I don't want that set. Only things that interest me in that mission are the fleshie's Mikunas Set and fleshie Bikini Swimwear- if the other 5 colours are available.

1) For the formalwear and bikinis, are they the 5 new colors, the 5 colors from 1Up, or both?

2) For the Amorosso set, do you get both the top and the boots for one trade?

3) Are all 10 colors of the Mikunas and Amorosso sets available for trade, or only 5 of them?

I'm not certain about your questions on the colors, but with this (and the SPF set), you get both parts in a single trade. Once I find out which color are available, I'll be adding it to our PSUPedia page on the mission.

I'm both excited and depressed about this update. Excited because there's a lot of stuff I want from this update like the Mikuna set, and depressed because lord knows when WE'LL be getting it...

And you know, for everyone saying how steep the price is for these clothes, it may not be that way by the time we get "The Clothier." There's no telling how much things like har/quick and such will drop in price between now and then.
