right looking for vids on utube and came across 1 off ruins mag enent . and the ppl sudenly runs into what looks like a shop or shall like the mission were got get a cake anyway. any now wat thatplace is just wondering wats it all about.

Yeah, there's a shop in the ruins map. You can buy the usual stuff, mates, charges, but you can also buy special room decorations, and remodeling tickets.

In the first and original Phantasy Star on the Sega Master System there is a way out-of-the-way cake shop at the very end of a dungeon that you have find in order to buy a cake to use as a gift to the Governor. (The cake costs 1000 meseta, which is ALOT in Phantasy Star) On the Sega Genesis, Phantasy Star IV paid homage to the out-of-the-way cake shop in PS1 by placing a cake shop in the basement of a house on the outskirts of AEIDO, in which you can buy cake and use it to solve one of the game's subquests (finding a lost dog).

I wonder if PSU's out-of-the-way cake shop will actually be hard to find, and what the cake will be used for this time?

PSO also did this with the Addicting Food quest. You have to go through Caves 1, 2 and 3 to get to the cake shop- and all this is just to satisfy someone's sweet tooth >_>
