I like it. On another note, is the drop rate boosted durring the event, or is it just the number of creatures plus the fact that there are no mat drops that makes it seem like there's a boost?

Drops are boosted 250%.


Regarding the lack of ore drops: Ores are actually all handled as area drops. They just so happen to be are drops for every area in the game, except the PSO areas. Same reason you'll never see an ore in FoI.

Not only Kerseline and co. don't drop, also take notice that any wood mats other than Kubara don't drop either as well as any nano- meta- orta- don't drop. Probably to keep the "reality" intact (Ragol Universe != Gurhal Universe) as much as possible.
