Instead of the usual 3000 hit per target in a line, it's now 1700 per target in a line.

It's still the most powerful ranged weapon for those who can use a slicer, especially when you can get 8 or so in a row like during the MAG event.

yep tis true, second combo has 372% attack at level 11. it will only take you 20 gold badges to get it too. (20 gold badges x 3 pa fragment trade in)

Considering all the other benefits a slicer and chikki still have (piercing infinite targets, good range in both width, distance and even close proximity around, Melee Attributes which include JA and PP Regen on normal throws, and slight tracking on normal throws), damage reduction is the least of my concerns on it. PP cost reduction I quite like, which means more spamming without the usual complaints about clearing out a room too fast for everyone to tag.

As for Choutou, it now has a place in the powerhouse department of Slicer PAs. In addition to that, a more interesting animation.

Suit yourself if you want to forgo using slicers again. They still seem pretty reliable either way.

it makes me cry when i hear ppl are exchanging golds for PA frags. You can get PA frags ANYWHERE, the rest of the prizes you can only get during THIS EVENT.

also, chikki is still okay, its easier to aim than chotou, and goes out much farther. its just not OMG like it was before.

I hate when people call chikki the Slicer PA :| (there is still another PA for the Slicer)...
And besides, chikki is still very good. It just wasn't right if you were able to outdamage an Axe (PA, Anga Redda lv 17) with Chikki lv 1 :|
Also, sorry, but if you just played PSU because of Chikki...than it's best you don't reactivate. lol.

AF is an awsome class, I play it on my main and kill so fast that I don't even know whats going on XD You just have to know what weapon to use where. And to be honest AF has a great weapon selection for a lot of situations. Which is why I love this class so much. BUT oh wait, we only have the "slicer PA" :|

It really doesn't bother me that chikki was nerfed, it needed it. I always used Choutou over Chikki, I found it more fun to use.

When im using my fighter characters, slicers are my last resort. If im helping a friend level up fast then i may do it but even then thats only for helping friends. any other reason...u would not see me using it....unless i was screwed lol

Before the nerf it was like a damn S-rank Needle from PSO DC, walk into the room and everything's already dead, it needed a nerf.

Reall, though, if having a skill nerfed to a fair level makes the game unplayable to you, then it probably wasn't the right game for you anyway.

Chikki is still pretty strong, despite the nerf. Its a good PA, just no longer "broken."

It has really good range, and pierce capability. If you hit 5 enemies for 2k (easily done with a none elemental slicer on a beast fF capped) thats 10k right off the bat, now count the other parts of the combo.

Chikki is still pretty powerful, just not overly devastating.

I just picked up Chikki at the beginning of the week, and with it now at 38 I can definitely see why it needed to be nerfed. It has great range, and wonderful damage for how many targets it hits. I never experienced it before the nerf, but I can imagine that if you didn't tag ahead of Chikki you may not have gotten exp (hence the soft ban overseas).

I plan to get Choutsu next, because it appears to dominate even better in close combat (does the movement make it a little bit more evasive?). Then I'll have chikki to tag and switch to choutsu to finish things off up close.
