Newman out dps'ing a beast?

Alright so I was doing mag with some randoms and noticed I was doing more damage then the 110 beast in our party (I was only 104 at the time) we both were useing absolute dance, his was 31+ mine is 12 and yet he was only hitting 900's for his first attack then 700's for the 2nd as I was doing 1k's for first and 850's for 2nd hit, so just wanna know what gives?

people that play fighgunner generally have no idea what they're doing. they can put an xbow on one arm and a slicer on the other yet they are still tornado dancing across every mob with their 3/7 14% light crea noobles, sending everything flying all over the place.

Well, yes, Newmans have more accuracy than Beasts, but that wouldn't effect how high or low his damage is. With Accuracy, the only thing it can effect, is if you do full damage, or none at all. And the TC said he saw the beast dealing damage. Just not as much as he was.

Bad fighgunners in my experience are notorious for slowing runs down with TD spam as well as showing off crappy % sweet deaths and crea doubles. With elements not right for the mission. I always expect to use more charges and pull more weight when there is 2 FI's in the party.

so noone has a problem with fighgunners if they dont spam td right cause i honestly dont even use my double saber. i mostly use daggers and machineguns, the only reason i ask is because i dont usually have many people joining my parties when im fighgunner and i was wondering what that reason would be, but other than td and things like that there arent really any reasons why people shouldn't like them right?

Sadly, some of us are DPS and Stat whores. With good reason though. Most of us that are, don't have a lot of time to play the game. So, to maximize our time, we DPS whore a lot.

I enjoy upsetting the very few percent of people who care about race in this game. My CAST does all the techer jobs and my newman does everything else. Right now her fighgunner pallet is one double saber (only for tornado dance to zip through MAG, otherwise I don't even use one), crossbow (Zagenga 30), saber, two spears, slicer (choutou) and mag, and twin handguns. Meanwhile, my CAST has a sexy psycho wand and hoshi-kikami. Extra insult.
