I'd thought I'd try drawing my main character, and well, here it is

Frankly, in my opinion, the only thing I got right was her shotgun, but if I look at the individual parts, it looks ok.

So anyway, critique and advice.

edit: Just thought I'd post some pics of what my charecter does look like, just for a comparison.

Really noticeable thing for me is her arms not being proportioned to the rest of her, otherwise everything else looks pretty good. Its a very sketchy piece.

But yeah the arms are the main thing that make it look odd.

umm..
• The shapes look to "shapeless"
• The breasts look like they are flat, because of the cloth.
• The neck is to thick.
• Arms to thin and hands to small.
• Poort girl is deaf?? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
• Don't use the ingame models as reference for the human body..

• Just keep trying, I expect a new drawing tomorrow! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

IMO, i'd say only the legs are well-done in terms of proportions / shaping. Sorry but i think that shotgun should be way bigger to kill anything else than running rabits. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
If you want to improve, you should try drawing without any model reference once you get confident enough to leave models alone. I never been able to draw anything decent without any models untill i gave up using references and practiced it by my own ; but get used to do nice-looking things with references at first, that will help you improve faster to begin with.

yep drawing without reference for the pose/proportions will make you improve alot faster! Just draw and try making use of critque you get here http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Hi. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

You've gotten a gist of body positioning, and structure which is the hardest part really to drawing the figure (So they look slightly humanoid. haha..)

What i would like to address is to make your lines direct. Don't doddle and diddle on re-making lines if you're unsure about something. If it's wrong or right who cares! Just be proud of your marks. They look way to afraid right now.
These other dudes mentioned some other issues you should address, I would definitly do so. Though mainly be confident with your marks.
