I need to find some way of blocking the image without breaking the button.

Ancient PSO-World was a work-in-progress. Most of the forum features were broken when the site first opened up. Even simple things like replying didn't work most of the time.

You also have to be careful when viewing PSO-World through archive.org. Sometimes the images being displayed will be out-of-synch with the time period. For example, the banner displayed in that first picture is from the GC/XBox era.

Hmm I did think that banner was kind of weird. Do we still have the old banner availible? If not what did it look like?

EDIT: Apparently the Hildebear banner only works on the forum index. When I clicked PSU General or Fresh Kills Landfill it turned into the new standard banner.
