VHard DF Swipe Attack

Would anyone happen to know the damage for the 3rd form swipe attack and possibly a rough estimate of the base damage of the "purple rain."

I'm about to take my lvl 50 FOnewearl against him, and I want to know if my 3 dragon hps and 1 resist holy will cut it. I think I'm at 320 hp or so.

my HUcast has about 516HP...falz took about 300-350 away from me...if u have deband, u might not die...it really depends on your defense

You'll need 391+ HP to survive in offline single-player and 451+ HP to survive in offline multi-player and online. I believe the Heaven's Punisher attack does approximately 350 HP damage in offline multi-player and online. If that's true, it'd probably do around 300 HP damage in offline single-player.

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, I muscled through before they were posted. I believe you are both correct, because at 346 he killed me in one shot every time. My saving grace was 5 of 8 scape dolls and the fact that his grants often knocked me down long enough to avoid the swipe.

His first form was the hardest. I could barely hit him with zonde because there were too many darvants and it tends to auto-target. I may not even bother on ultimate with this character.

I killed him while he had my soul stolen. Luckily, I did not die a substitutionary attonement as a result.

I survive his first, 2nd, and his 3rd form's cakewalk. His final, the bastard form IMHO, I took down fairly easier. Reason? 50 Light resist. That's not a bad idea. I tried it, but it was doing 0 to the darvants, so I gave up. However, it certainly would have solved the targetting problem. Can gizonde conceivably hit multiple dragon heads, or is the distance too great? I never use any ratech except level 1 rafoie with my hunter in FIY to clear all the rappies out of a room that aren't rainbow colored. Two shots usually gets them all and makes them all drop on the way out.

Barta/Rabarta is what you'd want to use on the Darvants. Even with the multiple heads, you can only hit the dragon-head Falz form once with multi-target spells. With that in mind, you're better off using the best balance of damage and TP cost, which would probably be basic Zonde. Keep that same concept in mind for the second and final forms with Barta and Foie respectively.

I'm straight on the second and third forms. Those just come down to having enough hp and a few scape dolls. I'll just have to work on the targetting issue on the first one.

It's just easier to not get hit by the purple things....I mean really, I've been hit by it like once.
