Moatoob Guardian Headguaters?

Yes. Go to Moatoob. Gawik's Pub in particular. Have a few beers and have at each other. The one left standing and hasn't retired from passing out or left from boredom is the clear victor.

WHO WILL SURVIVE?

Why go all the way to Moatoob?

Just go stand in any crowded lobby area and start screaming at each other. For maximum fighting efficiency I suggest you macro you battle cries. Good luck, and don't get carpal tunel!

Reported.

Macros are a bannable offense in PvP.

Nobody is the best in this game, and nobody ever will be. Go play a PvP oriented game if thats what you want.

PVP would not be fun in this game, because my Force would mop anyone off the floor..lol

The only way to make PVP fair and balance is if it were Force vs Force, Fortefighter vs Fortefighter..etc

I'm the best. There. Move on. Thank you.

I have to admit. The user configurability of Mags from PSO made that a much better game for PvP. As of right now, there's no way to balance one class to fight another class. Nothing. You can, however, do certain things to configure yourself better within the same-class ranks. Kind of a selection of PAs, armors, and armor attachments, battle.

But anyway, to answer the question, "no". We don't have a player battle game or anything, right now. We do have a competition for time attack going on right now, with some absolutely no-surprise results. Just pick the fastest class and get the tops.

The problem of PvP i see is not "X class/race is too overpowered" or "X class/race will always beat X Class/race"

its more of, the way stats. in this game are set, anyone would be able to kill anyone instantly XD lol

Sort of. With some people it'll be up to pure luck with Killer shot or Megid. It's stupid, but it can be their only way to win. Not exactly fun if all your battles are "Flip a coin".

I guess other peoples stats count for nothing. Sure if you can do 1,000+ damage to an enemy it makes perfect sense that you could do that same to a player character.

Oh forgot to say, leave the game design and balance to the Game designers just because you can't think of how to balance it doesn't mean they can't. You guys are the ones who should get over yourselves.

I love PVP, it makes people cry city flooding streams of tears.

And that's only from even mentioning it here.

Why bother with lady luck when I can nail you with one 31+ Rifle bullet and let you lie on the floor until I finish caving your face in. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

It doesn't change the fact that the classes would be broken in terms of pvp. We aren't talking about raw damage, we are talking about battle mechanics. For Instance; The above poster mentioned LVL 31+ rifle bullets with knockdown. Yessir, stagger death. If it wasnt that, Nos-digas, Nos-zonde from a techer. Mmm yeah alot of fairness there. Can't really dodge those. They would have to remove many elements to make pvp fair. Any melee class would just get run over by Ranged or tech classes. Simple as that.

Sorry, I'm fives rooms over shooting Grants at you. What'd you say?

Neither PSO nor PSU is suited to PvP.

Akaimizu

Did I say it was very suited? I just said it was better suited. I don't see how you can not agree with at least that. I made that comparison between two Phantasy Star online games to make the point. Especially when PSO's battle wasn't that great. Don't read more into it than what it really says.
