I understand that it's very hard. I'm sure everyone who's even on the Leader Board has worked extremly hard to get, and maintain, their position. However, this whole mess with MAG and the error is akin to throwing a party and giving everyone an invite, only to refuse some people entry until a certain time.

A time well after the party has ended....

It just makes me angry to hear someone say that they should end the event "on time", because they want to keep the things they have, while they have them. Things that alot of us also wanted a shot at! But because of some "hick-up" in the system, we're not even aloud to get some of the smaller things we may have wanted.

It is unkind and unfair of some of you to get upset when you're already getting so much.

You can express your displeasure over a possible extension in general terms to a certain extent. Any substantial deviations from the topic will get the topic locked though.

Why do people think everything a GM says is a "promise"?

Anyways, I got mixed feelings about this supposed extension:

Pros:
-Better chance of getting a better ranking
-Better chance of getting the 200 million prize
-Gives a chance for most people that got 065'ed to play


Cons:
-People are getting bored
-The people that got 065'ed still won't be in the top 500
-People BAWWWing
-I will fall behind in the rankings due to me getting 065

I, for one, would welcome the extension if it is true. Due to part of my MAG being cut off due to finals, I can catch up and have my chance at a pushan. I'm sorry if you leaderboarders feel hurt, but you should know that's what it means to compete. You only succeed because you don't give up, you succeed because you persevere when others let go. If it's your goal to get a spread needle, then by god, keep persevering. Nonetheless, it's still pointless speculation and BAWWWing since it's still not official. It wouldn't exactly be fair to take MAG away from all the people who were 65'd for the last x weeks just because you want to play White Beast.
I'm saying White Beast because other missions are rarely done in groups of random people, MAG or no MAG, and if you just want to play with a group of friends, it's not SEGA's job to convince them that there are other missions than MAG out there.

I friend told me, a GM said they will freeze the actual leaderboards and they plan to make one new. At the end, SEGA will make happy who got 065, and who are in the actual leaderboards, the right solution is that. Freeze the actual leaderboards so they can make happy who have worked hard till now, and make one new for the poor 065 users. Even if, I always said, I would love if SEGA could give a free Spread Needle, at players who have got 065 for over a mmm week?Of course, I havent got 065, so Im not talking for my profit.

I think its a great solution to all the problems, the only complication I can see is how large the leaderboard will be, and if it will only be for the PC/PS2 side. Granted, I definitely think that it will only be fair if the leaderboard is only for them, but that doesnt stop me from hoping for another shot at a Needle =D Still though, Im pretty sure they cant make it 500 people large if its only for PC/PS2 servers, cuz the way you guys make it seem that would be almost half the population over there getting one, not to mention those who are still on the original Leaderboard from the PC/PS2 side. Im thinking if they make the leaderboard the same size it will have to be for both servers, but again thats not really fair that a lot of 360 players would get a second shot.
