Gamecube is sitting there making the deadly buzzing sound. I unpluged my modem cord will that fix anything??

I don't think so. This is the proper time to start crying if you had anything good unequipped. I've left mine unplugged for two hours, trying to save 32 pdrops while it buzzed.

jesus christ! why were you carrying all your stuff unnequipped into a lobby?? I see so many of these posts of people losing all there stuff from FSOD, since you lose only whats on your person and unnequipped, i gotta know why people are carrying 5+ rares, unnequipped, into the lobbies...mind boggeling

Whenever I have some important armor/slot changing, I do it offline. I equip everything as fast as is humanly possible! This save system sucks, the worst I have ever seen in a video game, ever.

when you mean unequipped stuff do you mean that items youve acquired over the time of the game without saving?

If the system is making a BEEPING noise then it has crashed. You need to turn the power off. If the system is making a BUZZING noise, then it's time to get a new GameCube, or at least replace the fan.

Here's what happened. I was in trade room and I got disconnect so it quit the game. So when I re-opened the lobby (Vega, Block 2) it locked up and of course my stuff was unequiped cuz I was gonna trade it and had pulled it out of my bank.

I get buzzing, but what does that have to do with the fan? The fan is running. The GC is not overheating.

yes, why people can't simply visit there banks and deposit there stuff before leaving a room is beyond me, visiting the bank automatically saves for you, You'll never lose your stuff if you get in the habbit. Its just so simple. His story is different though i guess.

The buzzing comes from the speakers, not the GCN unit itself.

Custom Barrier ver.00 and Custom Frame (4 slots) aren't that hard to get legitly. I have both. But I won't give them away for free. To me, this is your learning experience. To err is human, but at least you'll learn from it. I never leave a trade room without banking the stuff I retrieved when I first entered room. If you are interested in the Custom stuff and wanna trade, let me know though.
