Foie= Fwoie ( I throw a W in there for some reason)
Barta= Bar-taa ( sounds like sparta with a B, and if you hold the "aa" part the freeze effect sticks better)
Zonde= Zawn (rhymes with dawn) Deee
Diga= Die Gah
Megid= Meg (peter griffins daughter from family guy) Id (associated with ego and superego for all you psychology nuts)
Resta= rest uh

Ra= Raa (like form that cartoon, mummies alive "with the strength of raa!"
Gi= Sounds like Gib as in "gib rares". Turns to "jizz" for gizonde though, as in "I jizzed all over her"
Dam= the thing that beavers make.

In writing I spell them out as they are, but when it comes to pronunciation, I don't really say them, for some I call them by their looks.

foie - fireball
rafoie - explosion

diga - rock
radiga - meteor
gidiga - earthquake

zonde - thundershock
razonde - lightning
gizonde - thunder

megid - purple ball of death

etc.

this again? ugh! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I may (may) search around the forums and see if I can find the other lengthy threads which covered this topic to death. Just for the ops reference of course.

Foie = Foi(starting like foil)-e
Bar-tuh

Die-gah

I pretty much follow what most people have posted, but I have an exception.

Gidiga

Guy-dee-ga

Every other time the Gi- is the "give without the -ve". I don't know why I feel Gidiga should be pronounced that way.

It's weird, I pronounce different Gi-techs differently.

Ji-zond (ji like in "Jim")
Ji-barta (same as above)

Gi-fo-ee (gi like in "gift")
Gi-dig-uh (same as above)

I know how to pronounce them the Japanese way but somehow it sounds better to me pronouncing them that way. Hmm...

Lol, you people have it all wrong. :3

Foie = Fooie. As in, "Aw, phooey."
Barta = THIS IS BARTAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Zonde = Boogers or Silly String, cuz that's what it looks like to me at low level >_<
Diga = Sling Poo at lower levels, Meteor at higher levels
Megid = ...well, it's just Megid. It has a bad enough reputation to not need a new name. :3
Regrants = Seizures
Shifta/Deband/Zodial/Retier = Steroids (or buffs, lol)

As for prefixes:

Ra- = Rawr
Gi- = Gib
Dam- = DAMMIT >_<
Nos- = Ohnoes

Thus, you come up with Rawrfooie, Ohnoesmegid, DAMMITBARTAAAAA, Giboogers, and the like. As you can see, I have too much fun coming up with names like this. =P

Since I speak Spanish I just read them with that pronunciation since it is the same for Japanese, but since I don't know if Sega made a good romanization of the Japanese names I don't know if that is the correct pronunciation or not.

So I say: Fo-ie, Zon-de, Di-ga... (with spanish-japanese pronunciation where a = a, e = e, i = i, etcetera)

Since french is actually my first language, I tend to pronounce most tech names with a french accent. Especially Foie (which literally means "liver" btw). XD

So shooting livers at kamatozes can be quite entertaining. :3

Foie - Foe + ee
Barta - Bar + tuh
Zonde - Zon (Rhymes with Gon - if you played Tekken 3 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif) + day
Shifta - Shif + tuh
Deband - Da + band (lol)
Zalure - Zuh + lure
Retier - Ret + tee + eh
Diga - Dee + guh
Megid - Meg + id (like saying "it" just exchange the "t" for a "d")

Ra - Rah
Dam - Self-explanetory http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif
Gi - Gee (Like saying "Geese", for example)
Nos - Like saying the beginning of "Austrailian" with an "n" added on (I tried my best to explain http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif)

I laughed at myself while typing this...XD

Well, I played PSOX in Japanese, so I'm a cheater.

I say "fo-E-eh" foie

megid "meh-gEEd" (soft g)

zonde (zon deh)

The only thing that really grinds me is when people mispronounce Ninja Gaiden, Sange, and Nei.

"Gah-E-den"

"San-geh" (g- always soft in Japanese, soft!!)

"Neh-E"
