1,000 shotguns instead of 500?

That's what it sounds like to me. They're opening a huge can of bitching if they don't count the old leaderboard. *shudders at thought* Though, to be honest, I have a feeling most of the new one will mirror the old one.

But it would also bring its value down and the people that got 2 or more shotguns on the first leaderboard could easly snag a few more by continuing to play as much as they did.....

People on the original boards get their shotguns, and those characters can not win another from the new board. They should be releasing more info on how this second board will work in regards to number of people on it, I seriously doubt it will be 500 slots however.

The ones that got 2 shotguns on the first board with their first 2 chars can use the 2 other chars to get 2 more shotguns on the new board easy with the easy leveling up, transfering PA and equipment .

I'm all for this. This satisfies the players who worked on the old leaderboards, and gives those unfortunate another chance to obtain one as well. I sure didn't expect them to do something like this, I'm surprised and proud.

While I'm not personally after a Spread Needle, I'm kinda disappointed that they're gonna add (supposedly) another 500 more. Realistically I doubt it'll be that many, but anything >150 is gonna severely mess with their worth in shops.

Also, let's keep in mind this is a 14* item here people. It's bad enough there's gonna be a million Pushans flying around, I was kinda hoping they'd leave all the ubar rarz to actually be... well, ubar rare.

Keep in mind people that at 10 this babys ATP is 232. For grinding purposes and for the sake of other peoples wallets, it best be 1000 so the true Spead Needles power can be used, well, almost.

Technically, if they really wanted to make a true rare weapon for the game; they should do like others (including themselves in the past) did. Simply not even make a big announcement about rare weapons. Just let them kind of pop up and show up so that they are always revealed by some (OMG I FOUND THIS) player announcement. Making it a big official announcement makes it seem too much like something everybody should have.

That's wonderful. But if you already got a shotgun from this leaderboard, you won't be able to get a second one from the second leaderboard. They are going to check over this MANUALLY (I can imagine the problems from this already...) so this prevents problems. (ahahahaha sega...)

Thats funny b/c i talked to mel yestrday also and 3 ppl who came in asked the same question about the leaderboards and he said even if u place on the previous leaderboard that you may still place on the new one as long as it is on a different charcter on the SAME account. So yes theyre will be 1000 and yes you can get 1 from ech board!

PSU has to be the only online game, where 1000 of any item, spread across 2 SEPERATE servers... is making it common.

I mean c'mon people in reality, if it were split 50/50, there'd be 250 on PC/PS2 servers, and 250 on 360 servers from the first leaderboards. If making it 500 on each server is making it common... it's a wonder this game even exists.

That would suck if they release a drop based spread needle and have it look the same just with another name.

They did say Mag is the only thime they will make this one available, its rareness would be ruined further with a similar needle if they release it.
