PSU-PS2: Ideal Teammate

I've been playing PS since the dreamcast days, and I'm sure most of you guys are veterans as well. What I would like to know is what is your ideal teammate.

Me personally I like having a ranger by my side. I choose the close combat style so its pretty nice having someone covering you from a distance.

depends on what type I'm playing as though generally speaking I think I'd prefer a techer type, preferably an acro for psu because of good support tech and offensive capability in melee, range and tech

Honestly though, a good teammate is anyone that does their job and plays their class to its strength. I can't stand it when people do stupid shit like have an entire palete of one weapon type. To be honest, I have no real preference for play style. I rarely even notice the weapons or arts people around me are using, and it seems like anything on PSU will go smoothly with any decent group. I just ask that my teammates don't annoy me.

I'm not picky but I guess I like to play with someone that will take 2-3 creatures at the same time or cover me when I'm engaging a beast.

Definatly someone who is watching out for me as I try for them. Class doesn't matter to much as long as they are trying to assiste each other. Team work is noticable to me when someone stops and comes running to use a sol atomizer or starts using status effects that can stack with you. (ex.Burn, paralyz,ect.

Like really intentionally backing them up though it doesnt always have to be said but for example, you notice a techer using regrants, then you back them up by keeping them alive so they dont have to stop, or when a beast nanos. I have the Rare/Normal Item distribution set to "Finder."

They can go and do whatever they want. Buff, shoot, strike, whatever. As long as they brought Scapes and aren't dying every two seconds they're fine by me. Just don't get mad because I don't have a mic or I don't talk often.

Me and my friend Joey do quite well as a two man army. As an AF, I can kill the small monsters medium easily while as a Figh/FF, he is really good at the medium and big stuff. Our playing styles pretty much cover each other's weaknesses. Now if one of us could heal...

Nougami's favorite teammate: someone who casts resta alot, doesn't take any of the items, doesn't get mad if he accidentally hits them with his whip, never complains what mission rank they get, is willing to play at really weird hours, and only occasionally sets him on fire. In other words, his partner machine.

Me and my friend, pretty much cover our own weakness.

I´m mostly FG or FT depending on figurene. I mostly stun enemies or bombard them from distance and heals when needed.
And he is often FiG or FF. So he often lays down huge amount of dmg and i either use Star Atomizer/Giresta depending on character to support his Power beast form.

Tylor is a good NPC distraction as well, and my PM 422 is one pwnage kicking one too and heals relative often and sometimes uses it´s SUV.

Soall in all... OVERKILL!!! =)

When I am on MayLee I need people who deal some good damage or keep things in their place, Gunners and Fighters

When I am on Neicee, I need people to heal me because I am usually a close combat person.

When I'm on Kita, I need a fighter because Gunners can do bad by themselves if they can tay at a long distance.

Uh As a FiG I need someone to keep an eye on eye and heal and help me kill stuff as I fail at soloing anything above B ranks. I really dont like 2 man teams since for me 3 is good one can be a techer and the other helping with melee or converage
as a WT need someone who doesnt care i have low leveled tech buffs and heals heh however most of my dagger PAs are in the 20's so a bit more damage i need the PA reblance soon heh

the problem with this is that this game is so easy team work is really not need witch is why you don't see many ppl working as a team.
