FKL Survival/Adventure: Sign-Up

Alright, guys. Shlig originally wanted to do this next one, but he's letting me do it because he couldn't come up with a ruleset. I, on the other hand, have made up two rulesets. When you sign up to play, pick one. Whichever one gets more votes will be the one we play.

Fantasy Adventure:

The Situation: The king of your kingdom has decided to use his money and manpower to pursue a rumor of the Tools of the Master Thief. These tools are said to be able to open any door, no matter how complex the lock is. As adventurers, you have been charged by the king to enter the perilous cave where the Tools are purportedly hidden and retrieve them.

The Goal: You can win in two different ways. First, you can collect the Tools of the Master Thief and escape the cave. Second, you can be the last surviving player.

Major Differences: This game isn't as much of surviving a catastrophe. You guys are spelunking in search of treasure, killing monsters along the way. By eating monsters' corpses, you can gain some of their abilities. Also, you get no map in the beginning. (It is filled in as you explore.)

Futuristic Survival:

The Situation: You are trapped aboard a derelict space station with an alien monster.

The Goal: You can win in two different ways. First, you can escape the menace in some way. Second, you can be the last surviving player.

Major Differences: No food and no magic. Two new ratings for areas in the game. You will be doing more running away than fighting.

Although, I suppose a better answer to your question would be "Just post your actions when the time comes and I'll decide whether or not they're fair."
