Why are Techers named after fruits?

Maybe its the sexual references associated with fruits.

You don't see techers named Pomegranate, Orange, Tomato (debateable), amongst others.

I dunno, I was just thinking about it....

If I don't particularly care for the name, or have nothing rp-ey in store (which I rarely do) I tend to name my characters after nuts and spices (Oregano and Cashew, for example).

Since I've been watching HGTV more than the Food Network now, I guess my next character will be named "Crown Moulding" or "Brown" (I just made a HGTV joke. Oh my).
