Know what else would be a great invention: steam locomotives. I can't believe no one has gotten into that one yet.

Way to backpedal.
Which reminds me, I have this great idea for a personal vehicular contraption with 2 wheels and an awkward seat, all connected by metal tubes.

Really? You know I had the same idea except it would involve two more wheels and some metal plating!

And we shall call it the Internet.

Capitalized "I", we can tell the difference.

Quote-punc, punc-quot, I can never remember which rule to follow for standard American English. I prefer to keep the punks out of the quotes, unless they're immediately involved in the matter.
Hence:

notice how I pulled a I instead of I weird huh
That is pretty weird. (Are curly brackets punctuation?)

Anyway, does this Internet thing have cool handlebar tassels?

Rainbow tassels, baby.

Edited in US markets to only include red, white (yeah, not a color in the rainbow, pur-say, whatever), and blue.

As long as it isn't indigo, we are golden.

Indigo, the missing link between messianistic misanthropes and Cantaloupe carrying camels culled convincingly (from) Calcutta.
