S Rank Fighter Armor... ?

I'm a Fortefighter looking to go Fighmaster when it's available. However, I've found my line shield selection extremely limited at the moment. I'd like a line shield with an extra slot (s rank of course), but it seems my only option is a Serafi-Senba which is retarded expensive.

Are we getting any more s rank fighter armour anytime soon? Are there any affordable armours out right now that are s rank with extra slot I'm unaware of?

Future updates are supposed to have some armors (I believe one for fortefighters specifically) with extra slots tacked onto them... but for now, we're stuck with Serafi-senbas and Storm Lines, both being mad expensive as they are (because they have the extra slot? o.O).

You're other current option is Shinowa Line, it lacks a Body Slot though.

The word has been good that White Beast S2 is more forgiving on Serfari-senba drops than our current Srank version so all you really can do is just wait on that. Any other Extra slot Srank armor is too far away to even care about imo.

protransers cant use stormline, but acrotechers can.

Storm Line: gunner/acro only
Castest Line: CAST only, no head slot
Shinowa Line: most affordable option, no body slot

Is Castest Line equipable by Protransers? It says it's CAST and "gunner" exclusive in the PSOW database.

Sadly, Serafi-senba was basically the optimum Line Shield I could find. I can live without the head slot, but I need a high defense, low evade armor. My playing style hates having broken combos from blocking, so I just tank hits and keep swinging.

Heck, I'm going to be using -Evade units just to get my evade even LOWER <3

Only viable Cast Fighmaster armors currently are Serafi-senba and Shinowa Line. I think Red Line drops in Caves of Illusion, but I don't know what slots it has, or if there are any usage restrictions.

I doubt the Red Line will drop in Caves of Illusion. Does Japan even have this armor? I don't think so. Even if it were to drop, the drop rate would be really low and guess what, surprise! The player shop would be incredibly HIGH! (even if it dropped alot it would still be an expensive armor) Right now, choices for armor are sadly low. Your best bet is to wait until White Beast S2 where reportedly, the Serafi-senba board drops more.

I could be totally off-base here, but I seem to recall that Castest Line "was" Cast only, but it was changed to all races in a later patch by Sega, for whatever reason.

I don't claim this to be correct, and I could be completely wrong, but I remember hearing that at some point. Could have just been a rumor though.

As for FF S-rank armor with an extra slot, Serafi-senba is your only option really...FF really gets screwed out of S-rank armor, currently at least.

Well I have a while before I absolutely NEED S rank armor (Fighmaster). For now I'll just roll with this DB Line until then. No biggie.

I'm not sure about Shinowa Line but Stormline can only b used by the following:
Acrofighter
Acrotecher
Fortegunner
Fighgunner
GunTecher(I Think) It would be stupid if you cant.

Body Slots = Freeze/Sleep/Stun Resist units = you can tank even more without worrying about immobile SEs stopping you or trying the post-Sol trick.

Red Line has all slots btw but is Fire only.

^ What he said. Body slots are far from useless, as that's where all the Resist units go. Everyone can benefit from those.
