Your Character story and backround.

I was just wondering do people actually give there made up phantasy star characters a storyline. Here's mine....

My story is about a girl name Scarlin.
There many different stories of Scarlin in many didn’t universes with different plot and backrounds.
But this is her Phantasy Star Universe storyline.

In this story she’s a Cast. She comes from a different dimension. (ex. Just like some of the weapons on Phantasy Star came from a dimensional rift deep inside a RELICS site) She very different from most CAST. Her abilities far surpass any CAST in Gurhal. She is also way more emotional than normal CAST but yet still logical at the same time. She’s made from some unknown genetic material that came from her dimension. Next to nothing is known about this material or her abilities.
She was made and modeled after a legendary human female from her dimension that died. She really didn’t have a main purpose so she lived her life as a normal person. Until she mat this 9 year old boy name Neo (No not the guy from the matrix). He was young nice courageous and silly. He was just like the typical 9 year old boy but he showed more will-power and determination than most people period. She found this very interesting and took a liking to him. Since he was young and short she figured she make herself short and young looking to get a better understanding of him. (She can control her appearance) She actually enjoy be around him. He wanted to be a strong person who has the power to fight what he believes in. So she figured she’ll train him both mentally and physically to reach his goal.
Everything was going fine until one day a mysterious RELICS site appear in there town. Being the curious and courageous person Neo is he wanted to explore this RELIC site and see what exactly it is. So she goes with him to explore the RELIC site. They found and seen things they never seen in there lives. However, things went wrong when mysterious creatures started appearing and attacking them. They fought them off but in a last attempt to win the last creature open a dimensional rip and sucked them all including the RELICS site in. When she awoke she was still in the RELICS site but in a whole another world. Neo and the creature were gone. Not know where he was at or how to find him she decided to learn the ways of this world (Gurhal) and find a way to find him. After being in Gurhal for a bit she realized that being a guardian would give her more access to tools and vehicles needed to travel around and look for him.

I think someone posted a thread like this in Fanworks once. I had a rough background story for each of my characters. I'll have to go back and find them.

Fanworks basically is where we keep our character-based background stories. I have quite a bit of background information, much of which is in a series of chronicles (though 1 of them is an established short narrative).

No need for me to repost that here, they already exist here; but the web page, in my sig, contains the background story all organized for web viewing pleasure.

However, I urge that you go to the sig weblink instead. It's probably a better revision, plus the plethora of information surrounding that story is organized better. Take note, the story was done before the announcement of Acro-classes and Photon whips. The fact we have them now is both a great guess and a strange coincidence.

the story for why i made blueberry is that i didnt like how my main looked so i made another and deletted my main lol

My character Mary Sue represents everything that everyone wants my character to represent. It doesn't matter what, Mary Sue is perfect at everything. You know, just your typical RP character.

I like this topic, theres alot of ppls out there that really "role play" their chars. and why not? Its just good fun! (ask panzer)

Its probly more fun to be original but... my main char. is Storm Shadow. I've always loved the name and I grew up on the G.I. Joe cartoon. Next to Snake Eyes he was by far the most badass (good guy, turned bad guy, then back to good guy) Ninja Master/Cobra Comanders bodyguard. To quote General Hawk: "Most danerous man on the face of the Earth".
I could dive deeper into the complex story of Storm Shadow (Tommy Arashikage), but to get the full effect you need to pick up the original Marvel comics (he appeared in 1983).

As for my PSU char. Storm Shadow I try and play up the "role" best I can. He liked to cling to the past when it came to his weapons ie: bow & sword. I also started a guild (in PSU) of the super secret family "firm" known as the Arashikage ninjas. (with there respected code names) They are some of the most prestigest, helpful, role models of this game. All good friends of mine and very good at what they do.

Remember its all in good fun and I enjoy playing with those that play along!

All my characters are based off of stuff I've written or been a part of before I even started playing PSU. This actually tends to be a trend with most games I play since I use most of my good character ideas in our fictional worlds and when the next game come out I usually don't have any extra ideas and would hate to create something I wasn't satisfied with.

I have unspoken backgrounds for my toons.
Zankokin is the reincarnation of Sammael, my main from PSO ep1&2.. only he's batshit insane and likes to blow things up. I don't RP him at all, but I think the voice and the macros alone do him justice.
Lyane is the reincarnation of Nyare, my main from ver.2 and my prime alt in GC ep1&2. Her PM is named Nyare, though. I never play her, but I'm still collecting all the major claws for her in case I do (same thing I did in PSO).

My Newman AF is a grown up clone of my PSO main, except she has flashbacks/nightmares of dying (Partially infected, but the scientists never detected it. And no, I don't give a damn about PSO/U's story consistancy...). Oh and she's a klepto...

My Cast gunner is a refitted robo-maid. Zero personality.

And my Newman Techer is an insane, frost happy Dark Space Elf. No real background story, just crazy.
