I restarted playing yesterday after really missing PSU. Of course I've been playing and noticing plenty of changes. I think I need a bit of help and pointers for catching up.

You'll find posts a plenty highlighting all the new stuff from AoTI, and welcome back from your hiatus ^^

There much to tell. One way is to look through the news update on the main page for changes. ;]

I find that the Official Site (http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com) does a good job of presenting the new content and changes that are present in the expansion. Check the Game Info section out as it covers all the major changes and additions in a nice organized fashion.

Well I kinda have been seeing some stuff like whips, and the mag weapons, protransers don't suck anymore, etc.

So, any recommendations for getting exp and mission points?

The best mission for mission points in my opinion is Military Subway (http://psupedia.info/Military_Subway). Its drawback is that its a little long (5 blocks) and the EXP isn't great.

Yep. Military Subway even on C rank gives 135 mission points. MAG part II is supposed to be coming the end of June. You'll get an XP boost against weaker enemies. White Beast is usually popular also for leveling.

I'm glad that I've got weapons and armor suitable for this place. I'm going there right now.

Edit:

Forgot to ask where to access this mission.

for the subway mission you need to get to the AMF metro station, you can get there from the Liner line in West Parum.

i too have been gone for almost a year, started playing again over the weekend. I've become addicted to the Casino, actually.

also for the subway runs watch out for their snipers, they have knockdown bullets.

Take a look at the Mission paths for Parum (http://psupedia.info/Missions). You're gonna have to clear AMF HQ Recovery first before you can access Military Subway.

You can find AMF HQ Recovery mission at the AMF HQ in the Holtes West District across from the GRM store.
