What should I do?!

So i was feeding my Bot (making a striking Bot)and it was late at night. I wasn't really paying any attention to what I was doing and I brought the tech up by accedent. So now what....? One friend says I should restart before I spend any more money. But another says why bother, why waste the time and money starting over. 99% vs 100% wont make that big a difference will it? So my question to you all is should I start over now or does having 99% not make that big a difference.

Depends on the level. If you're already at a high level, and have already spent alot of money on it, there's no point in losing that fourth of a percent. On the other hand, 99 is an ugly number compared to 100.

What level is it now? I'd say that's a large factor in deciding whether or not to start over.

Every 20 levels gets you an extra 5% (iirc), so 99/100 would be 5% off of your bonus. I'd bomb it.

It used to be that 5 PM levels = 1% boost to that synthesis type. However, that was pre-AotI. I'm not sure if this ratio has changed.

Edit: Kylie, it should be only 1%. Again, unless they've changed the formula since the expansion.

It's just what I've noticed while feeding my PM, while keeping an eye on an S rank board I had in it. Every 5 levels, the success rate went up by one.

Bring down to zero and start over. I restarted mine when it was a 100 because I didn't know better when I started with my bot and kept feeding it sol atomizers, so that's nothing.

I don't see the problem with losing 1%. However, I own an impure bot myself. Mine's like 35 tech, 65 striking, so I can have a pet healer when I solo, and make things at only a 7% less chance than everyone else.

And you're aware that my 450 is constantly spamming resta, right? Besides, this bot was made at launch. If they've since changed it so all pm's are heal bots, suck for me. At the time the only time bots other than a 450 would heal is if they were injured, not you, so I made the one that would heal when I was at 60% or lower hp.

Besides, 7% loss in production ability is not a big deal. Chances are, if I fail a synth with a 61% chance, I would have failed it with a 68% chance. With it all being random, theres nothing saying you wouldn't fail 10 synths at a 99% chance in a row, and its just a game, so there's no reason for the OP to freak out over having 1% less than a pure striking pm.

ummm u guys.... i check my boards when my bot is at lvl 99 and at 100, and the percents are EXACTLY THE SAME on 99 and 100%! >.<

I wouldn't really worry too much...I have a 95/5 Striking/Tech PM and I can still synth stuff just fine...I mean, my PM actually hasn't synthed anything that was over 8* less than 40%! But then again It's been like a 3/5 success ratio.

Hmmm 1% is iffy. Im unsure of the succes rate at 99 strike. Since its around 30'ish its not too late to Zero it out and get it back at that level. If you dont do it now(if at all) I bet that 1%
is gonna bother you for a very long time. You can probally buy old 7*-9* pre-Aoi weapons very cheap now to help get that boost and get it back to 30 soon. Plus if u can get some of them PMDefRolls from the fruit stand at Parum, thats just more boost for you :)
I'd say stop feeding it (if you still are) and decide now before it gets higher and higher in level then its gonna be that much harder to go back to lvl Zero on it. Either way good luck on

I did it during oneup, and you can also do it during MAG whenever it comes back. 10 S runs = 300k mesata minimum so you can afford the striking recipie easily.
