I hate the Antares ship. I get FSODs there so much it is unbelievable. I've gotten 9 FSODs on the Antares ship and only 1 on Vega in the past 2 weeks. Doesn't that seem backwards? What is up with Antares???

I use a Broad Band Adapter and my second home is on Antares. I've only had FSOD once. That was going into the lobby straight from a quest.

if you dont have bba then yes you are going to get fsod a lot to prevent it go into like lobby 10 once your in the ship you want that helps.

Odd that it happens on Antares considering Vega is the more populated ship.

Geez, I even think about vega and I Fsod. Antares loves me. Well, except for the inconvienient unannounced server maintainance in the middle of a vhard falz third form fight. >___<

IMO, Vega is generally more uncivilized than antares. There's a lot more people sitting in lobbies blasting banned words they inputted through japanese mode as a shortcut and 'kekeke'ing that they can say 'fuck,' and there's a lot more yuk trade rooms there. I feel... ... ...dirty every time I go to vega. It's good for a quick fix of a game when it's absolutely dead in Antares, but ick. Usually it's not worth it. Too many 'ihaveallrareweaponsthroughdupingorwhatever-butiwillstillclaimmydarkflowislegitifounditoffofas ilrappyiswear-soimgoingtoswitchbetweenfiftyweaponssoilookreallyc ool' people. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Yeah. I go there, I see people using a homemade chat symbol that says "ASL". Damn AOL morons. I'm not calling everyone who using AOL a moron, cause then I would be shooting myself in the foot. But it's those few that do things like that who get on my nerves.
And there was a guy who made a symbol that said a banned word.

All of my FSOD's (except one, which was on Antares) were on Vega. Blasted ship. The other night I had 5 FSOD's alone on Vega.

I seriously can't go to antares anymore. I can't count on my fingers and toes how many times I've been fsod on that ship. With my bba and my 56k. I have only fsod on vega once. I dont think i will ever go to antares again :

And I do have a BBA! So that's not the problem...

I'm pretty sure the FSOD is more of a hardware problem than a connection problem, of course the FSOD I'm talking about is the freezing load error that ends with a hideous BEEEEEEPPPP noise that Metroid Prime likes to force occasionally too.

I always get that stupid buzz lockup on Vega. >___< It brings back painful memories of Metroid prime for me. I had to fight thardus five times because of that damn buzz lockup. T_T

ugh....hate Thardus...though it's even more annoying when you're fighting the Omega Pirate (the one that gives you the Phazon suit when you beat it), and the thing locks up on you. As if being able to beat him, and running out of missiles, and starting over because I had no clue I could hit him with other stuff isn't bad enough. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Oh....and uh to add something about PSO... I've never managed to get an FSOD on Antares...it's only ever happened to me on Vega...and once on Deneb when i went to the wrong server o.O

I've never gotten the buzz lockup on PSO, but I did get it on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 once, right after I started the earthquake in Los Angeles. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

It does the buzz-lockup deal on metroid too? Why have I never gotten this? Do you keep your GC in like an airtight box full of radiators or did the early versions of GC have bugs or what?

Just got my first FSOD. It was on Antares 8, with under 70 people in there.

Eh, go figure.
