Lulz.
Where are you getting it? Hopefully somewhere where NO ONE will be able to notice it.

Far from it, it's going to be on my right wrist on the underside.

I don't know anything about tattooing, but that's a pretty sensitive area--tickles just to touch the underside of my wrists.

I hope he enjoys having women ditch him for a video game character.

Indeed, and the blood vessels are close to the surface.

But I have to say I'm more concerned for his sex life than his wrist

I want it on my wrist but I havent decided, cuz I might want it on my shoulder

Can't really say I'd be concerned about it affecting my sex life if I were to get such a tattoo. Well, maybe cause it's already nonexistent anyways, amirite?

But mostly cause, I wouldn't even think I'd want to be bedding anyone shallow enough for that to be some kind of magical deciding factor, but whatev'.

Were I ever to get a tattoo (unlikely), I'd most likely opt for this guy:

I'd probably get it on the shoulder rather than your wrist, so some future employer won't ever give you hassle about it because you'll be able to cover it up with a shirt.

If you meet a girl that can recognize that, RUN.

Run twice as fast if she can read the text on it without hesitation or worse yet, knows it from memory.

If I didn't know what that was, I'd assume it was some sort of cult symbol.
In which case I would run.

Sadly I can read it in a circle. Or upside down/backwards like half the signs on the walls in Caves.

And I do know what the PB seal says by heart.

Another -5 modifier to my Impress Opposite Sex check.

Nai_Calus
May 29, 2008, 11:51 AM
(Outermost ring, from top)FARLLA, ESTLLA, GOLLA, PILLA, LEILLA, MYLLA2
(Single letters below each PB name)F E G P L M
(Next ring in)I WISH IT AT AN ALLIANCE FROM SEVERAL YEARS AGO
(Innermost ring)PLEASE PROTECT US BY VIRTUE OF YOUR THE GREAT LIGHT POWER

Mmm, engrishy. Then again, the number of people who are ever going to *bother* to read that...

I'd guess the PBs are some sort of deities or spirits.

As a general personal rule, game related tattoos are bad ideas.
But thats just me.
I plan on getting a Tree on my back.

any idea as to what it means

It's might be alluding to the seal placed on the profound darkness by the great light that is kept in check by the alignment of certain planets. Also, it might also be alluding the fact that photon energy is really the embodiment of the Great Light and photon blasts are actually sentient portions of the great light much like the enemies of the ruins are portions of Dark Force/Falz/Phallus.

That's more or less the way that I interpret it.

Bingo. I've got nothing against tattoos, but this is very, very good advice. You'll obviously want to show off your tattoo in colloquial situations, but from time to time, you may find that it might not be appropriate-- such as, at a job interview.

A tattoo on the wrist could lead to mixfortune.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. Kylria isn't even the sarcastic type...

A tattoo on the wrist could lead to mixfortune.
That opens the floor for positive luck, which I can't really see happening with much frequency on this little adventure. I do appreciate the name drop, though. Usually raises the mix stock a few points.

Yeah I was talking with the guy that's going to be doing it and he told me he refuses to give it to me on my wrist :P

Which is all fine and dandy anyway, cuz it was between the two choices anyway.

Now about that ninja tattoo....
