The burning booth thread reminded me of my hostility towards a particular class of footwear.

Crocs, or, Crox, if you're a jerk, are the sort of footwear that separate moderately fashionable people (hey, my jeans kinda fit me) from tragedies (Hot topic).

Croc Facts:

1. They look cheap
2. They make you look cheap
3. We don't care how comfortable you think they are (See Side Issue: Wearing Pajamas Outdoors)
4. The colors they come in make the Zune look hot

It's not stupid, it actually keeps me cool. Less sunlight on me, and less heat buildup.

i wear Gortex hiking boots, comfortable, completely waterproof, can withstand any abuse i put them through at school (including a sharpee assault of boredom), not to mention if i kick somebody with them they are really going to feel it XD, only way i would like them more is if they where steel toed and came with free curry.

Chuck's right for once...40 degrees + for me is the kind of weather I can wear shorts in and not give a damn. Worst part is here in philly it gets really cold but never snows =/

I just wear plain white sneakers at work, and black chucks anywhere else. Or sandals, though I need a new pair since mine are coming apart (including part of it which has a sharp edge and hurts when I walk sometimes :( )
