Hi, I'm Tetetsune. I've been playing PSO (Gamecube)since 04, played online in 05 and then my character was hacked. After that I played sporadically. Then in 07 I bought PSU, played it for a couple months and then got absorbed in another game. However, for me things have changed and I plan to play PSO or PSU again, just have to decide which one to play. I haven't got the expansion yet for PSU, so I'm wondering if it would be worth it to play, I'm not that far anyway, or PSO-is the game dead? I want to thank you for your posts in advance and look forward to seeing you!

Welcome to the message boards. How did your character get hacked in gamecube? Last I remember the only bad thing they could do was FSOD you and make you lose you inventory stuff that wasn't equipped. Or in EP3 make you lose a match with FSOD.

Anyway, If I where you I would go for PSU.

PSO GC is alive and well on the private servers. If you decide to go with PSU then the expansion pack is a must. With out it you'll miss out on all the new content and the events, plus leveling is much easier too.

Welcome. As to your dilemma" if you can get the Expansion for PSU go with it, it has a lot more content now, of course that is if you choose to go online as PSU is kinda lackluster in the Offline story modea. Or you can try hooking up your Gamecube to a private server, but I can't personally vouch for that being the best idea.

The only official Pso bb now is on the Jpn servers, I belive.

The PSU community is larger than the PSO one. However, from all the stories I have heard, the people I have seen, and the people I have played with on PSO, our community is a bit kinder.

That's putting it mildly, though I've been lucky and all but one person I played with was good. I like to follow the rule never accept someones partner card until after you've played with them.
