Promotional Missions?

Just got a broadcast about some kind of Promotional event just now in PC/PS2...

What does this mean exactly? Anyone know? Do we get boosted exp or anything, or are the GMs just telling us to go play there?

For those who didn't see the message, the promotional mission is "The Dark God". There's supposed to be Trivia afterward at the Falz Memorial.

Edit: Also, Ruby Eclipse is a GM now? WTF?!? Is JeM still active?

Hard to get info on the "promotion" in-game. Still have no idea if the mission differs from the original in any way.

It was a promotion to get people to play the dark god. Then they had a weird trivia game thing... I got one question right with no Keyboard...
