I didn't get very far on the question by googling myself, either, but I did discover some interesting things about the back of my knees.

First stop was the DIY section of the Despair site, but the defaults there turned out to be Times for the title and Franklin Gothic Medium for captions. That turned out to be a red herring; put 'em side by side with real Demotivator text and the difference is clear.
Thankfully for the Universe, the Linotype website has a supercool FontIdentifier (http://www.linotype.com/fontidentifier?start=1) gadget which is kind of like that magical 20 questions thingamaball, Q20 (http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/13725), for type.

Well, kind of I consider the Goblin Digger as THE F.O.E. in FFXI, though he's far from being an awfully powerful mob in the game. There is one of those bastards wandering randomly in every outside area of the regular game, so technically, the odds you come across them by chance are very low. Still, for some reason, I, among other people, always ended up being stabbed in the back by one of them every time I was getting involved in a fight against a boss or strong mob, or resting from such a battle with almost no HP / MP.
What hurts the most is that they go back to what they were doing on the other end of the area as soon as all what remains of your character is its dead body. :wacko:

EDIT : F.O.E. = Foedus Obrepit Errabundus, which is Latin for something like "The Vile and Sneaky Wandering One."
