Any Relics site with LV100 or higher monsters has [B] Psycho Wand as an area drop. In other words, your only two choices are Sleeping Warriors S2 and Dual Sentinel S2, both of which are on Parum. Svaltus can be a problem in either mission (Stun/Resist, much?), and the latter has De Ragnus as a boss. The board you're looking for won't drop from his boxes, but you could potentially find other potentially useful things.

There's a couple of threads for this, but I will say that I prefer Sleeping Warriors. I've seen three Psycho Wands drop in the past two days. I got two and a friend got one. The only problem is that I've seen three Psycho Wands and no Relic Edges. :(

I'm going to have to hunt some diad soon before I get another board.

I have seen even amount of psycho wands drop in both runs(duel sentinal and sleeping warriors) but for some reason I have seen alot more edges drop in duel sentinal.
My buddy gets more edges in sleeping warriors though :)

I hate everyone that finds the Pwands so easily...yes every stinking one of you and the horse you rode in on....just cause I can.

I've been hunting the P wand for litterialy 7 years now all the way from PSO ver1. And I've done numerious runs of SW and DS in hopes of getting things like nanopolymer and Pwands. I find nanoploymer all the time...when I'm with people and they alwasy get it....and I've never seen a pwand drop in either of these missions.

Yes, I actually looked it up. I was looking for more precise information as to where people have been finding them more. Maybe one mission was better than the other, and I was also looking for other various tips.

I found one in the Parum relics part of the Winter Festival and gave it to Logan, and he's still hunting for the materials. :lol: It's nice though to have some stuff like that that's still rare.

No, I didn't respond with personal experience of I found this here, or I havn't gotten one myself here, so go there.

I responded because there's simply a lot of people that don't even know these resources exist to get the information they want, quickly, and in an unbiased manner. It's obvious now that the original poster is not one of these folks, as they looked the item up in the database first, but from the original post, that is not clear.

Well me and my friend found ours at SW. We found 3 each, but never found one at DS. Besides, the SW runs are much more forgiving than DS so its much more easier to run.

I found a Psycho Wand board on Saturday, it was my 24th run (I just came back recently). I was sooo happy! Found 4 Edges until now... Will keep on leveling techs in SW before I move to WB to get the Diads I need. Hoping for another PW, I wish I would find them as often as some of you guys - let's see how many I got once I made 100 runs.

I have found four psycho wand (two to me, two to friends). No relic edges. 49 Nanopolymer. Too many carbon to count. 3 Diad.

Having Psycho Wand board isn't that great if you don't have the relic edges or diad to make them. Plus SW isn't a big money run so it's not like I can just go out and buy the material. After I cap Zonde and Barta I'll probably go to Hill of Spores for Diad. Not sure what to do about the relic edges. If I do more SW, I might get another PW board to sell, but I'd rather give it to a friend than sell it. I could always do Holy Grounds, but that seems like a waste. Although Kotoha-senba would be nice.

Funny enough. From my runs of SW, in a group, or in 2-player runs; never seen any relic edges or psycho wand boards, at this time. (In the past, I actually used to get Relic Edges on a regular basis. Not commonly; just at a steady pace. Rarely get Nanopolymer, but the carbons were through the roof. Junaline was the big dropper, though. There was one time in which Junaline dropped in every encounter, save 2, before reaching block 4.

For weapon board drops, oddly enough, I got 2 Meteor Cannon boards out of it.

I run SW relatively frequently, not crazy amounts though, I found a Psycho wand after about 40 runs, and let it sit there about 3 months while I made my bot/got the materials. Nothing since then though, but I am happy

If I find another PW board, I have one person I promised one to (Joe, Vanessa already got one). After that if I find another I can give you one. You'll have to find the Diad and Relic Edges on your own tho. Having 3 is fine with me. Of course this is based on me finding two more boards before I cap zonde and barta to 40.

Funny enough, I haven't gotten any meteor cannon or stormline boards. About 5 ran-misaki and got a Cati/Power in a random POS2 run while leveling Rabarta.

The first time i try hunting a psycho wand i did dual sentinial and the first enemy droped it but then i wanted another one and did it again but didnt get any good rarews what so ever so now i just do sleeping wariors i find better rares evn if i dont find a p wand i got kan yu alot of relic edges some diads and a few nanopolymers but no p wand so i would suggest sleeping waarior S2

I run SW almost non-stop. I get, however, nothing but stormlines. I've found about 8 stormlines from those damned badira and a few meteor cannons and huge cutters here and there but no pwand. I've found one so far, but that was in a party, and it went to someone else... Anyway, i recommend SW, its way easier, and theres diads, nanos, relic edges, and cati skill if ur really lucky and find some rappies.

I and a partner have been spamming Plains Overlord S2 and Sleeping Warriors S2 back and forth for about a week now. The former for a Cati/Power and the latter for a P Wand. Haven't seen either drop, but have received enough other good drops, PA exp, PA fragments, and B st that we still do it. It makes me wonder if i will ever go back to White Beast... spammed that forever and never really got anything but a crapload of mats.

You get more meseta by having more members in a party. Does this also influence drop rate?

Ok, this is odd. Looks like all of a sudden, I'm a Meteor Cannon magnet. Anyway. Last night was nothing but Sleeping Warrior Runs for me and a couple of friends. We were there basically for levelling stuff like Megid, rifles, and a few other techs, along with the prospect of some drops.

Did see a relic edge and nanopolymer drop. Still, at one point, the other people left and I was to do 1 more solo run of the thing. And there it was. Meteor Cannon [B]. Hmm. Always good to have more tries of something that might fail a lot.

I'm just curious as to what you guys consider "spamming" and "nonstop", as I think it differs a bit from what other people consider, and can be a bit misleading.

A good pwand hunt for me consists of about 10 minute runs on my techer, with an abandon on
block 3, rinse & repeat quickly. When I was hunting hardcore & tech leveling, that was about 4 hours during the weekday, 5 days a week, and maybe anywhere from 5-10 hours on saturday and sunday. So maybe around 35-45 hours invested in hunting pwands, if my luck was 2-3 star. That's approx. 270 runs a week. When I was doing that, I was finding about 1 pwand board on a weekly basis. That's spam.

Spamming or going "nonstop" for 5 hours in the week, doing maybe 30 runs, and then complaining about meteor cannons or stormline boards is lol imo. Unless you one of those extremely lucky peeps, you gotta invest the time. It WILL drop, you just have to have the persistence to find it.

Personally, I'm glad I put my time in, because I'm extremely happy with the palette I have now, and never have to run that mission like that again (or until 15* rod comes out T_T) I got just a couple techs left to level, and if I find even more in the process, it's instant profit.

You have to invest time into finding it. If you aren't willing to do that, don't complain.

ya, I only have about 4-6 hour blocks during weekdays that I can devote time to play, which was why I was doing a bit more on the weekends.

looking back on it, if I was investing anymore then 4 hours on the weekdays, I think I would have drove myself insane. I do sympathize with people devoting that much time or more and walking away empty handed. that would be disappointing.

maybe there was some luck involved on my end, but I also did invest a lot of my own time. there were many days, sometimes weeks, where I'd walk away with nothing. but all you can do is keep at it and keep trying. eventually the odds work in your favor.

Over the weekend when I saw the four drop, I was doing ~14 min runs. Never fought the Svaltus unless there was another person in the party or the Rare Map (I have NO need for PA frags or Svaltus Swords/Edges). Friday I did two runs before the first board dropped. Saturday the board dropped on my 5th run and on my 30th or 32nd run (can't remember exactly). Sunday it dropped on my 15th run. I ran an average of about 40 runs a day with friday being closer to 20 and Saturday being closer to 60.

I have a little superstition that I like to follow where if I get a board drop of any type within the first 3 runs, I won't go back to my room until I get at least 12 runs without any board drops. If I don't get any board drops within the first three runs, I'll head back to my room and come back to start the process again. Yeah, I know that doesn't actually affect anything. It's just that I feel there's a time based pattern to drops sort of like the Casino roulette wheel, so I head back to my room to change my timing a bit. Completely ineffective since I can't "see" the timing that generates the random seed, but it makes me feel better.

Since I was using my Female Human FT 12 at the time my luck was 1* for all three days.

Yesterday with 0* luck on the same character I finally got a relic edge and 3 meteor cannon boards, but I also only did 10 runs before heading off to system defense for some metaresin/polymer.
