View Full Version : XBox: Halo online + me = one terrible terrible game

A couple of days ago, a friend told me of a site (or rather program) that only costs 12 bucks, and lets you play Halo online.
I jumped right in.
Let me tell you, it's awesome! All you need is a broadband modem, a wire probley to go from your router and $12, though you can try it for free. Cant remember the site dangit, but its called XBox Connect.
Too bad I suck at it though. I mean ive beaten the game a few times on heroic and stuff, but I really, really suck.
So do my friends too.
Anyone else got this?

Nope, i don't...why should I pay for Halo to play online, I'm having problems paying for PSOI&II on the gcn.
Well I don't. I'm able to wait until Halo 2 comes out.

Isn't that the thing where you connect your Xbox to the internet through your computer, and play system link games online through GameSpy via a program called GameSpy Tunnel?

To my knowledge, you don't have to pay for anything to get online other than the hardware you need in your computer to hook up your Xbox properly.

Its not run through gamespy and the trial version free and you can use it forever so its really cheep.

Sounds interesting, but I'll just wait for Halo 2.
