so sometime's every now and then you may observe a groundhog of sorts who pops his head out but regresses back into his hole.
this is all fine and good, but this sometimes happens long after several prarie dogs, sometimes very large ones, have already evacuated their domain and the observer thinks that there will be no more such animals. it's somewhat odd and annoying because the person noticing all of this is never really sure when they're done.
did you notice how i needlessly put an apostrophe in the word "sometimes"? cause I just did.
