ITT we learn the difference between something that is ironic and something that is merely a coincidence.

1)
Richard Dawkins, author of "The God Delusion" and (in)famous atheist, is found in his home, crying tears of sadness after watching The Passion of the Christ.
[ ] Irony
[ ] Coincidence

2)
That dude on Dateline's To Catch a Predator is found with CP on his computer.
[ ] Irony
[ ] Coincidence

3)
A famous artist losers her drawing hand in a freak accident while she is painting.
[ ] Irony
[ ] Coincidence

Finally
[spoiler-box]http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/2209/ironydk0.jpg[/spoiler-box] Is this picture ironic, or coincidental?

I wouldn't call it ironic or coincidental. It's more of a, "Hey, you were warned," sort of a circumstance.

1: This depends highly on if they were tears of sadness about the fate of the protagonist, or tears of sadness towards the people who find it believable.
2: Irony
3: Coincidence
Pic: Neither.
